Due to the particularity of the family background and the particularity of the group itself,the education of migrant students,as the vulnerable group,has always been the focus of national and government attention.Their migrant and unstable lifestyle puts more challenge and difficulties to these vulnerable migrant teenagers than their local peers.Migrant students have limited education resources in their hometown and significant drawbacks in learning when they come to the cities,which leads to more difficulties in further study.So it is urgent that a suitable and practical way to help migrant students improve their learning performance should be found immediately.In current studies,research subjects in Task-based Approach are mostly local students in the cities.According to the existing literature,issues in different disciplines,such as academic behavior,teacher-student relations,mental health,and social adaptation,are at the micro level.And the macro concerns are education surveys,education opportunities,and education policies,education rights,education finance,education management,education development and other issues,including almost all aspects in the education of migrant students.However,there have been few studies on micro-methods in solving the learning difficulties of migrant students,especially for specific curriculum learning.The implementation of any research results requires micro-implementation,and the learning improvement of migrant students' learning needs to be guided by operable and applicable methods.This is a gap in the current research field and a need for future research.As for related studies on migrant students,up to now,macro aspects,including pedagogical psychology and pedagogical policies,and microaspects,including features and facts of migrant students' learning are at the research center.There is no existing study on migrant students' vocabulary learning by quantitative and qualitative analysis.This thesis explores the certain effects and changes of attitude toward their vocabulary learning under Task-based Approach.This thesis,based on teaching experiment,analyses the effects and changes of attitude toward migrant students' vocabulary learning by pretest and post-test,together with the questionnaire and uses SPSS 22.0 statistical software for quantitative analysis;the interview,as a qualitative instrument,was arranged after the post-test,which some students from the experimental class were randomly selected to participate in,to further explore the certain impact and migrant students' changes of attitude in English vocabulary learning under Task-based Approach.The major findings of this thesis can be concluded,according to the results of the experiment and the discussion,that for migrant students,a significant improvement,increase of interest and confidence in English vocabulary learning can be seen in vocabulary learning under the Task-based Approach.
