The Singing Analysis Of The Aria Poor Flower

It is well known that Pobre Flor is selected from the Veristic opera Adriana Lecouvreur,which was created by Francesco Cilea,the representative of the Italian Romantic music.It was sung by the heroine of the opera in Act 4 to express complex emotions,with extreme dramatic tension.Therefore,it plays a very important role in shaping the character image of the heroine and promoting the development of story plot.In this paper,the aria Pobre Flor was taken the research object to deepen the emotional grasp and expression of the work by the character analysis of the heroine,the connection between music and characters,and the comparison between two different deductive versions of the aria Pobre Flor by Montserrat·Caballé and Anna·Netrebko after knowing its source and plot.And then,the analysis of singing performance was carried out through singing skills and singing emotions.Finally,the analysis of stage performance was conducted in combination with myself,so as to explore how to better perform this work.
