In Chinese international education,Chinese refers to Mandarin Chinese(hereinafter referred to as "Chinese"),and the primary difficulty of Chinese language teaching is phonetics.In recent years,more and more scholars have used the method of experimental phonetics to study and analyze the situation and errors of foreigners’acquisition of Chinese phonetics.The research in this article is based on the phonetic pattern theory proposed by Shi Feng to investigate the acquisition of Chinese consonants by Indonesian students in order to improve the teaching quality of Chinese In this article,consonants refer to stops,fricatives,affricates,etc.The sonorants in Chinese consonants are not involved in this article.In the processing of speech data,we use Excel for calculations,tabulations and graphics,and we use language R for larger data mapping,and P value calculation,etc.The article consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction.This section mainly introduces the literature review related to previous studies and the origin of this topic,the theoretical background of the research,the research methods and ideas,and the innovation of the article.The second part is the experimental design.This section mainly introduces the speakers in this article,Chinese-Indian phonetic system comparison,pronunciation materials,recording situation,experimental analysis software and so on.The third part is the experimental part.This section consists of three chapters,consisting of stops,fricatives,affricates,etc.Each chapter introduces the corresponding theoretical background and experimental methods,compares the pronunciation,discusses and analyzes the reasons for Indonesian students’ errors,and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.The fourth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research results of the full text.In terms of stops:Indonesian students’ aspirated sound are mostly weak aspiration,and the time of aspiration are random,without regularity.In terms of fricatives:Indonesian students’/c/is difficult to learn,often confused with/s/,and rigid fricatives/c/,/s/,/s/do not have obvious transitional characteristics.This is with China Students are the opposite.In terms of affricates,the posterior tongue affricates/ts/and/tsh/are greatly affected by the frontal tongue affricates/ts/and/tsh/;the Indonesian students cannot distinguish well the affricates/tc/and/ts/.
