Phonetic Contact Variation Of Zhashui Chaizhuang Dialect In Southern Shaanxi Province

This paper mainly uses the method of language contact to explore the phonetic variation among the old,middle and young generations of mixed language in Chaizhuang Township,Zhashui County,southern Shaanxi Province.From two aspects of phonological structure and vocabulary,this paper observes the effect of age,gender,living environment and other social variables on language contact variation and their influence degree.The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background of sociolinguistics,the object of our study-Zhashui chaizhuang dialect in southern Shaanxi Province,and the research ideas and methods of sociolinguistics used in the study of language variation in this area.The main part of this paper mainly focuses on two,three,four chapters.The second chapter mainly introduces the characteristics of three kinds of local accents “local dialect,Jiangnan dialect and Xiahe dialect”in Zhashui chaizhuang,and draws the conclusion that the reasons for the three kinds of accents are mainly historical immigrants and long-term natural mixture,and Xiahe dialect occupation the main advantage.The third chapter mainly talks about the phonetic system structure of Xiahe dialect in Chaizhuang,and compares it with the original Dialect—Southeast Hubei regional dialect,strong standard language—Putonghua,and obtains the differences between them in sound,rhyme,tone and vocabulary.In the fourth chapter,from the perspective of sociolinguistics,we observe the differences in initials,finals,tones and vocabulary of Zhashui dialect from three aspects of“age,gender and living environment”,and compare the significant degree of variation of these three social factors in Zhashui dialect,so we can draw the conclusion that the most significant factor affecting the variation of Zhashui dialect is age factor,followed by gender factor.In addition,it analyzes the language variation from the perspective of vocabulary.In terms of vocabulary classification,we divide vocabulary into high-frequency vocabulary andlow-frequency vocabulary according to different research purposes,and explore the impact of word frequency intensity on sound change.The results show that both high-frequency and low-frequency words have the characteristics of fast and slow variation.Chapter V is about the investigation and analysis of other factors affecting the phonetic variation of Zhashui chaizhuang dialect,including “language attitude,social network,ethnic group”and other factors.The seventh chapter is the conclusion and conclusion.
