Research Of Pipa Solo The Ballad Of Opposite Bank By Zhu Yiqing

This article will take the Pipa solo " The Ballad of Opposite Bank " composed by Zhu Yiqing in 2014 as the research object,make a brief introduction to the composer,the creation background and the performance situation,and provide analysis to the pitch relationship,the music structure,the notation method,the timbre characteristics,the performance technology and so on.The creation of contemporary Pipa works is considered through analyzing "The Ballad of Opposite Bank ".For example,from small to large,from single to comprehensive creative thinking;based on the exploration of traditional attributes and contemporaneity,etc.This paper also attempts to summarize and probe partly the exploration of traditional instruments in contemporary creative work from Pipa solo.The Pipa differential pitch,reverse pitch,fuzzification pitch,various contemporary performance techniques such as the top chord,the special performance method of adding things on Pipa,the change of holding the Pipa and the cross performance of left and right hands in " The Ballad of Opposite Bank " are all new exploration and creation in Pipa works.It is hoped that through the analysis of this paper to explore the contemporary composer’s understanding of Pipa and its possible expansion of space,and also to sort out the vocabulary of contemporary Pipa works,standing in the perspective of the performer can better understand the new works.It is also hoped that through the in-depth study of this contemporary work,this paper can provide a certain reference for the subsequent contemporary music creation,especially the plucked music creation.
