Research On Innovative Design Of Folk Oil Umbrella

In the south of Huizhou,Rich Cultural Heritage and deep historical roots have brewed up a dazzling array of traditional handicrafts.As a key protected area of Anhui Province,Jingxian County has been known as "a land of prosperity and Cultural Relics" since ancient times,with more than a dozen kinds of handicrafts.In recent years,under the background of post-industrialization and information,the demand of traditional handicraft has been not only in the economic level,but also in the innovation and inheritance mode.These traditional arts and crafts gradually began to break the established business model,but still face a shortage of follow-up force.The author takes Jing County oil-cloth umbrella as the research object,through consulting the data,field investigation and interview with the oil-cloth umbrella inheritor,and so on,has understood the oil-cloth umbrella the rise and decline evolution;Through the on-the-spot investigation of the only oil cloth umbrella factory left in the country ——--The national oil cloth umbrella factory in Jingxian County,we have a better understanding of the production process and inheritance status of the traditional hand-made oil cloth umbrella.Based on the analysis of the survey results,the author finds that the situation of oil umbrella transmission in Jing County is not optimistic.At present,the factory is facing a series of problems,such as lack of independent brand,narrow sales channel,single production mode and fault of inheritance.Based on the perspective of innovative design,this paper reexplores the cultural connotation,technological process,artistic characteristics and inheritance mechanism of oilcloth umbrella.Thinking in the process of modernization how to use design methods to help traditional hand-made oilcloth umbrella re-vibrant.Based on the regional characteristics and product characteristics of oilcloth umbrella,the author seeks a road suitable for innovative design of oilcloth umbrella.Through the analysis of the traditional process,independent brand innovation design,product innovation,dissemination and promotion of innovation in many ways to oil umbrella into the new force.Looking at the inheritance and development of oilcloth umbrella from the perspective of innovative design,it means that its innovative form has more possibilities and space for development.At the same time,it is hoped that the traditional oilcloth umbrella technology,which has a long history and is on the verge of extinction,can be inherited and developed through the form of re-design.
