Regional culture is an important manifestation of regional character.Documentaries with regional themes transform abstract regional culture into visual resources through video means,better realize the artistic aesthetic and cultural education functions of recording images,effectively disseminate regional history and culture,and embody regional humanistic values.When culture is embodied as a continuously preserved video document,it can also provide support for future generations to study the connotation of regional culture and documentary films of this type.In recent years,the creation of documentaries in my country has become more and more regional in style.Whether it is CCTV,local TV stations,or even independent directors,they are more creative from regional cultural themes to promote the excellent culture of the motherland and hometown.From the magnificent landforms of "Aerial China" to the local culture of "Remembering Homesickness",from the rich cuisine of "Bite of China",the elements of my country’s geography,history,humanities,cuisine and national culture have been fully documented The orientation has been presented,and it has achieved higher ratings,and has been widely disseminated domestically and internationally,establishing a long-standing,profound and colorful cultural image of a major country for China.From "Charming Sichuan" to "Da Shu Road",from "The Character of Sichuan Cuisine" to "The Nation on the Clouds",Sichuan’s "Ancient Shu" civilization and modern culture are also vividly reflected in the documentary images.Cultural prosperity and economic development have played a good role in promoting,and it is of great significance.This article discusses the imaging of Sichuan regional culture from four parts.The first part mainly elaborates the connotation and significance of Sichuan regional culture,and explains the operability and practical significance of the topic selection of graduation works.The second part,mainly from the development and significance of regional cultural documentaries,discusses the development and current situation of Sichuan regional cultural documentaries,and explains the active role of regional cultural documentaries in cultural heritage and regional image construction.Chapter 3,Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 mainly combine the existing documentary works of Sichuan regional cultural subjects,and analyze and study the narrative techniques of regional culture in recording images and the use of audiovisual language.The purpose is to find out the specific implementation path of regional cultural documentary film to regional cultural imaging,and use this as a reference to create more sophisticated Sichuan regional cultural documentary,and add another force to the inheritance and development of Sichuan culture.
