In recent years,regional culture has become an important perspective of documentary research,but as a whole,the research on regional culture of documentary mainly involves historical geography,human geography,food and other documentary types.The text holds that character documentary is closely related to regional culture.On the one hand,character image is shaped in regional culture and documentary style is formed.On the other hand,regional culture is written and spread in character documentary.In the history of the development of character documentaries,many excellent works with distinctive regional culture have been presented,such as De Xing Fang,The Family in Northern Tibet,Sand and Sea,No.16 Barkhor South Street,The Last Bang Bang.This paper takes the graduation work I am in Tibet and other representative character documentaries as case studies to explore the image expression of regional culture in character documentaries.The main body of the paper includes the following contents:Chapter one,based on the definition of key concepts,expounds and differentiates the relationship between character documentary and regional culture,and combs the development and schools of character documentary from the perspective of regional culture;The second chapter mainly discusses the integration and expression of regional culture in character documentary from the aspects of presenting content and presenting strategy,and then explains the role of character documentary in presenting and disseminating regional culture.The third chapter discusses the value and significance of regional culture to character documentary from two aspects of character image shaping and character documentary itself...
