Migrant workers is along with the continuous deepening of urban and rural economic system reform of our country is produced and developed group,is a special group of our unique.They made great contributions to the country's economic growth and city construction,but in the city is in a relatively weak position.With strong liquidity,non formal characteristics of employment,low quality,and poor self-protection ability and so on,are living in between the city and the countryside of marginal people,lack of social security protection.Therefore,the establishment has the very important meaning sound urban migrant workers social security system.Firstly,this thesis introduces the basic theory of social security for migrant workers.According to the connotation of the present research results of migrant workers are defined,and the basic theory of the social security system of the meaning and contents were discussed.Secondly,the survival status of migrant workers is analyzed from the income of migrant workers,living,psychological and other aspects,and points out that the migrant workers at the bottom of our social stratification system,the status quo of the social security of migrant workers is not optimistic.Analysis of reasons for the lack of social security of migrant workers show,ideological barriers,the lagging legislation,institutional barriers,lack of social security funds and migrant workers themselves factor is the lack of social security of migrant workers the main reason.Finally,put forward the building of the social security system for migrant workers.(1)to eliminate barriers,institutional and non institutional including: perfect the legislation,strengthen the law enforcement;reform of the existing household registration system;the government plays a leading role.(2)the social security system for migrant workers were the countermeasure analysis,requires the establishment of migrant workers industrial injury,medical,maternity,old-age,unemployment insurance system and the corresponding social assistance system as soon as possible.(3)To strengthen the construction of supporting mechanism of social security system of migrant workers.
