The question of Hong Kong teenagers' national identities is not only a problem about political theory,but political reality.Before the return of Hong Kong,schools in Hong Kong attempt to avoid political themes,which create an inherent lack of national identities.Because of deficiency education of national identities,the problem of teenagers' national identities becomes worse.In the recent years,thanks to all kinds of negative effects,part of teenagers in Hong Kong become hostile to the central government;national identities conflict with Hong Kong's;the sense of the national ascription and national identities constantly weakening.The education of national identities transfers national consciousness;the education of national history is an important approach of strengthening national identities;history textbook is a carrier of the education of national history.Therefore,national identities embodied by the history textbooks directly impact the sense of teenagers' national identities.Based on the status of the Hong Kong teenagers' national identities,the position and function of history education,taking New Idea's Chinese History published by Hong Kong Educational Press Corporation as an example,analyze the national identities of the Chinese history textbooks of Hong Kong junior high school,which is of benefits to searching for the reason of deficiency teenagers' national identities.There are four chapters in the thesis.The first chapter is an introduction that describes origin,significance,researching summary and innovation point.The second introduces the status and causes of national identities of the Hong Kong teenagers,including the historical and realistic reasons.The third chapter recommends compilation of the New Idea's Chinese History textbooks.On the one hand,introduce the external factors of historical teaching,on the other hand,describes nationalidentities of New Idea's Chinese History in general and from different dimensions.The fourth chapter is about how to reinforce the education of Hong Kong teenagers' national identities.In addition,thinks about the compilation,history teaching and education resultant force of the Chinese history textbooks in Hong Kong junior middle school.
