Study On The Welfare Measurement And Influence Mechanism Of Project-induced Immigration Of The Three Gorges Project

The investment and construction of major construction promotes coordinated development of regional economy and improves people's livelihood,which is of significant significance.However,major construction projects have had a large negative impact on social,economic,ecological and other dimensions.Project-induced immigrants often adopt economic compensation methods when planning resettlement compensation,such as relocation of houses in different places and one-time cash compensation.Such compensation mechanisms lack long-term assistance for immigrant groups,and the continuity is not strong,and no immigration is considered.The internal differences of the group have not been adapted to local conditions and classified,and the immigrants have generally faced difficulties in reemployment and family economic burden after relocation.This paper established a framework for the construction of immigrant welfare and a factor indicator that causes differences in welfare changes based on Amartya Sen's theory of feasible ability.The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and the multiple linear regression model were used to measure the impact mechanism of the Project-induced immigrants' welfare level and the difference of the welfare level.Based on the social welfare function model and stakeholder theory,and to enhance the endogenous development capacity of immigrants as the focus of resettlement compensation,this paper analyzed the welfare improvement path of engineering immigrants,and taken the Three Gorges Project resettlement area—Fuling District of Chongqing as an example.An empirical study.The study founded:(1)The changes in welfare levels within the functional space of immigrants showed large differences.Among the functional activity indicators of immigrant welfare,there were more upsides in the four dimensions of family economic status,decision-making participation,career development space,and psychological status;The fuzzy evaluation values of social security and health status,living environment and living conditions were higher than expected,indicating that the resettlement area has obvious effects in the basic public service facilities and infrastructure in the community.In the process of resettlement and post-help,the energy invested in the area of centralized planning and management,basic public services and other fields was relatively sufficient,but there was still much room for improvement and improvement in the mediumand long-term welfare level of immigrants.(2)The factors of immigration personal traits,the social network characteristics of the resettlement area and the political and economic environment of the resettlement area have a great impact on the welfare level of the immigrants.Among the variables reflecting the basic characteristics of immigrant families,the highest level of education has a significant positive impact on immigrant welfare;the average age of labor,the proportion of dependent population and the family Engel coefficient have a significant negative impact on immigrant welfare;Among the variables influencing the social network characteristics of the resettlement area,the number of relatives and friends in the resettlement area,the frequency of participation in interpersonal activities,the difficulty of borrowing,and the types of solutions to difficulties encountered have a significant positive impact on immigration benefits;In the variables reflecting the political and economic environment of the resettlement area,the government's administrative satisfaction and the implementation of the immigration policy have a strong positive impact on the immigrant welfare;the distance from the upper administrative core,the government's public budget income and the government The annual public budget income also has a strong positive impact on immigration benefits.Personal traits are the key to the endogenous development of immigrant welfare.The social network is an important carrier for the external transformation of welfare,and the political and economic environment of the resettlement area is the stabilizer for immigrant welfare.The improvement of immigration benefits should be carried out in the following aspects: cultivating immigrant human capital and enhancing endogenous development capabilities;integrating immigrant social networks to create a good living atmosphere;attaching importance to internal differences in immigrants,and innovating resettlement compensation Method;Empowering immigrants to equal rights and broadening the channels for development.The study provides reference and decision-making reference for the continuous improvement of welfare of the Project-induced Immigration.
