Group Work Involved In The Study On The Adaptation Of Urban Community For The Elderly In Pastoral Areas In Cities

With the acceleration of urbanization and modernization,pastoral areas are developing under the guidance of national policies.By going to Inner Mongolia,the author found that due to climate change and unreasonable land use in recent years,the ecological environment of Inner Mongolia grassland has been seriously degraded.Therefore,the state plans to shift the ecological migration to cities to slow the deterioration of the ecological environment.In the investigation,the author found that by 2018,230,000 ecological migrants had been transferred to H city.After the transfer,the herdsmen's mode of production and way of life have undergone great changes,and the problems they encounter are diverse and complex.The immigration issue has drawn wide attention,but few people pay attention to the elderly.Elderly people in pastoral areas face more problems,such as cultural differences in life;Interpersonal discomfort;Psychological anxiety and so on,all affect the pastoral area of the elderly city adaptation.In this paper,the urban adaptation of the elderly in pastoral areas is divided into three parts: cultural adaptation,interpersonal adaptation and psychological adaptation.In terms of life culture,due to different eating habits,different living environments and consumption patterns,elderly people in pastoral areas are troubled.In terms of customs,this paper mainly takes the custom of sacrifice to ao bao as an example.Most elderly people in pastoral areas choose to go or not to do this custom occasionally due to the inconvenience of the environment.In terms of interpersonal communication,due to the language differences,the elderly in the pastoral areas are not very active in adapting to the city,and they usually connect with their relatives or old friends.They have poor communication with local residents and slow development of community organizations.Finally,psychologically,most of the elderly in the pastoral areas expressed anxiety about their life in the city,did not identify with the city,did not have a sense of belonging,and did not adapt to their identity from herdsmen to citizens.By means of literature survey,questionnaire survey and interview,this paper measured the adaptation of the elderly in the pastoral area of community Y,and found that the elderly in the pastoral area had serious adaptation problems,mainly including the adaptation problems of life culture,interpersonal communication and psychological adaptation.Through the use of the professional concept of group work,skills and methods,the author carried out group services for the elderly in pastoral areas,and designed groupactivities from three aspects of life culture adaptation,interpersonal communication adaptation and psychological adaptation,a total of six group activities.In addition,interview evaluation and questionnaire survey were used to analyze the effect of group method intervention and group workers.Finally,through the group assessment,the paper summarizes and reflects on the adaptation of the group work to the migration city of the elderly in pastoral areas.
