A Practical Study On Support Group To Promote The Participation Of Urban Elderly In Community Activities

With the continuous development of China's economy,the process of urbanization is also speeding up,the speed of population flow is accelerating,a large number of people flow into the city,resulting in the group of elderly who move with them.As a special group of the elderly,they left their native place of residence,followed their children or relatives to a new city life,perhaps influenced by the traditional concept of providing for the aged,perhaps to take care of the third generation,perhaps for the sake of a better living environment in the city and so on.They all chose to move without hesitation.However,they also have some problems in their new life,such as interpersonal communication,social participation,community activities and so on.The research object of this paper is mainly the group of the elderly living in L community of Shenyang.The author analyzes how to improve the participation of the elderly in the community activities from the perspective of social work.With the support of social support network theory and activity theory,this paper makes a practical study on the improvement of the participation of the elderly in the community activities.Through a certain research,we found that the influence factors of the elderly in the community activities are their low initiative and few kinds of community activities.Therefore,through the group social work method to intervene in this issue,in the process of intervention,we constantly find the problems of group activities and timely reflect and summarize.Finally,we can achieve the main goal of improving the participation of the elderly in the community,so that they have a sense of responsibility and belonging to the community.Through some quantitative and qualitative research methods,the author deeply studies the factors that affect the community participation of the elderly who move with them,and then designs a group plan to improve the community participation of the elderly who move with them around the influencing factors,and actively explores the corresponding measures to improve the community participation,so that the elderly who move with them canplay a great role in the community participation activities,which can not only fully mobilize the elderly who move with them The enthusiasm of the elderly in the community can also promote their initiative and promote the construction and development of the community.
