With the development of modem competitive sports,the levels of athletes have been improving.In order to achieve better consequence for the athletes during the competition,the coaches have making great efforts in training methods,even inventing lots of creative methods for athletes to follow.Core training is one of those,mainly used for physical fitness training,which first was massively used in exercise rehabilitation training.As the creation of kinetic chain in recent years,core training also have been adopted in competitive sports training.While in China,core training is a newly emerging thing,and appropriate core training system suitable for certain competitive sport is lack.After several research and literature review,it is fully reveals that core training is a national or state gymnastics teams,basketball teams and swimming teams'privilege.Core training for sprint events is rare,especially for 200 meters,it's basically a blank page.This article employs reference consulting methods,questionnaires,experts interview,Delphi methods,experimental methods,mathematical statistics methods image analysis methods to experiment 5 national athletes at second level for a year in YunNan University,combines the 200 meters' specific technical features and core training together.It's not only for improvement of core area power of athletes,but also use different training methods according to different physical quality.Collect data of athletes short-distance dash,the analyze the data,so that conclude the core training's effects on 200 meters man athletes.The results of the research are:1.core training has less effects in start of race;2.core training has great influence on maintaining maximum speed for athletes;3.core training should mix with traditional strength training.
