Textbooks are not only the main basis for teachers' teaching,but also the main basis for students' learning.The level of textbooks c an reflect the level of education development in a certain country or region.Comparative education is an important part of historical research.In recent years,comparative studies of history textbooks in countries such as China,the United States,and Japan have yielded certain results.Both China and South Korea belong to the East Asian cultural circle and have the same educational background,and South Korea is greatly influenced by Western countries.Textbook reform is in line with the reform of international textbooks.Therefore,the comparison of history textbooks between China and South Korea is of great significance,which can broaden the "international perspective" of the comparative study of Chinese and foreign history textbooks.However,due to language and language barriers,there are few comparisons bet ween history textbooks in China and Korea.In this paper,the second grade "World History" compiled by the P eople's Education Press of China and the junior middle school history textbooks 1 and 2 compiled by South Korea's Mriea(N)Publishing House are studied.The content of world history represented by "World War II" is selected and a comparative study is conducted on the history textbooks of China and South Korea.The introduction part briefly introduces the background of the topic,domestic and foreign research trends,research purposes and met hods,history courses and historical education comparative theory,which lays the foundation for the comparison of the history textbooks between China and South Korea.The first chapter introduces the development and current situation of the curriculum and textbooks of world history in China and the development and current situation of curriculum and textbooks of world history in Korea.The second chapter conducts a comparative study of the textual systems of Chinese and Korean history textbooks from the three perspectives of basic texts,supplementary texts,and historical texts.It also analyzes the similarities and differences in the textual systems of Chinese and Korean history textbooks.The third chapter conducts a comparative study of the text-assisted systems of Chinese and Korean history textbooks from the perspectives of the guiding system,the interpretation system,and the consolidation system,and analyzes the similarities and differences between the text-assisted systems of Chinese and Korean history textbooks.In the conclusion and inspiration part,the author summarizes the comparison results of the textual systems and text auxiliary systems of Chinese and Korean history textbooks for junior high school,and based on this,the author combines the basic concepts of the history textbook compilation,and compiles the history textbooks of China and Korea to make a suggestion.
