Investigation And Research On The Status Of Children Of Migrant Workers

Based on the fact that in a primary school the children of migrant workers are relatively concentrated,this study carries out the current learning situation of the children of migrant workers.The purpose is to explore the causes of children in urban schools,come up with some countermeasures for school management,provide practical guidance for the children of migrant workers and help them adapt to the school environment as well as the new learning and life as soon as possible,thus improving their learning effect and quality.This study designs the questionnaire from three dimensions of knowledge learning,ideological behavior and group living in school through the methods of investigation and research.The questionnaire investigates the children of migrant workers and the children in city and conducts a comparative analysis of two aspects,thus finding out the main problems of the children of migrant workers on academic adaptation.The basic conclusion of this study is that compared with the children in city,the children of migrant workers have a big difference in the establishment of learning objectives and learning confidence,homework,reading habits,learning achievements and so on.The main reasons for these differences are as follow.There is a lack of knowledge preparation of children;the teaching management is short of specific measures for the children's learning;the family environment has a negative influence on the children's learning.Aimed at the main problems and causes of the children of migrant workers in the study,this study analyzed the reasons about the problems of the children of migrant workers in the school from the perspective of family,school,society,and students.Meanwhile,the following suggestions and countermeasures are given in this study.Adhering to the right direction of running schools,improving teachers' sense of responsibility,strengthening the relationship between home and school,adding more humanistic care into educational management,paying attention to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,helping the students to enhance self-confidence,cultivating students' interests in learning,helping their parents to improve ways of educating and take the responsibility of educating their children.
