A Case Study Of Caregiver Support For Patients With Mental Disorders From The Perspective Of Social Support Theory

Patients with mental disorders are a huge group.The rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders in China and even around the world and the family support of patients with mental disorders are both difficult problems.According to the world health organization,the burden of mental disorders in China will rise to 1/4 of the total burden of diseases by 2020.At present,when we are determined to build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and achieve precise poverty alleviation,the help for people with mental disorders and their caregivers has once again entered people's vision.As the vulnerable groups in society,people with mental disorders and their caregivers has long suffered from social,community,family and so on various aspects of stress,social support network is thin and physical health and mental health are affected by different degree of negative,so take care of people with mental disorders and their caregivers,giving them the necessary social support is the work of the social from all walks of life together,especially has a higher professional medical social workers.Based on the values of influencing life with life and helping others and helping themselves,social workers play an important role in helping patients with mental disorders and their caregivers rebuild social support networks and build social support systems.By means of social work intervention,this paper tries to penetrate into the family and life of the service object through participatory observation and unstructured interview,so as to gain the trust and recognition of the service object and help the service object make personalized service plan.Based on the support of social support theory,through the establishment of a social support network to help alleviate the pressure of the god disorder caregivers of family care,links to the resources,establish a mutual support system,provide scientific care knowledge and breathing services,assist to establish community rehabilitation platform,promote social intercourse ability,promote the community into,gradually restore the ability of community life,to help people with mental disorders families out of trouble as soon as possible,to regain the confidence of life,toward a happy life in the future.
