World ethnic music is an important course,carrying the excellent culture of different nationalities,and also an important embodiment of multi-culture.At present,there are more and more communications and exchanges between global cultures.Modern people also pay more attention to the advanced concept of multicultural education.The music education of the world ethnic group based on the premise of multicultural education has become an important part of the music class in domestic middle schools.The purpose of world national music education is to broaden students' horizons in music culture by understanding and experiencing national music in various countries,nationalities and regions of the world,so that they can have a deeper understanding of the music culture of different nationalities and have a respectful attitude towards different cultures and races.Under such a big environment,how to better carry out the specific teaching of world folk music has become a problem that music education must face and think about.The author takes the Key Middle Schools in Hunan Province as the research object,discusses the current situation and strategy of music teaching in the key high school in Changsha,Hunan province and analyzes it: the first part summarizes and states the theoretical basis of music teaching,including the concept of music;the necessity of music course for world nationalities;the research method and value of music of world nationality.The second part firstly introduces the process and design of the research and then analyzes the results.The third part is the author's further reflection on curriculum design after the investigation,which includes some feasible suggestions on curriculum structure,teaching methods,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation.The fourth part is the author summarizes the investigation experience,using Africa music "My Motherland" for classroom teaching.
