Research On The Construction And Influence Of The Nostalgia Of The Floating Population In Urban Village

Nostalgia is a special relationship that shows emotional connection between man and land.The nostalgia of the floating population in the urban village is the most typical in the process of new urbanization.In order to identify individual differences in nostalgia,explore the influence mechanism of homesickness,and interpret the phenomenon and problems of nostalgia in the process of urbanization,this research took Yuhuazhai in Xi'an as a case study,conducted a social survey with the floating population as the research object.Firstly,relying on the grounded theory analysis method,this paper deconstructed the nostalgia of the floating population in the urban village.Then it analyzed the overall characteristics and individual differences of nostalgia by mathematical statistics.And the structural equation model was used to explore the influence mechanism of nostalgia.Finally,the countermeasures to relieve nostalgia of the floating population in the urban village were proposed.The results were as follows:(1)The nostalgia of the floating population in urban village is a complex psychological experience in which the topophilia and reminiscence are intertwined,with time,space and place attributes.(2)The nostalgia of the floating population in Yuhuazhai is deeply thick.And the floating population get a stronger feeling in topophilia than reminiscence in general.(3)There are significant individual differences in nostalgia,which are related to the gender,age,income level,marital status,and household registration of the floating population.(4)The influence mechanism of nostalgia can be summarized as follows: time and space isolation brings,the living experience relieve,and the social integration eliminates the nostalgia.The demographic characteristics and awakening factors make the nostalgia more diverse.(5)The nostalgia in the era of liquidity is a deep reflection on the road to urbanization,a spiritual pain in social transformation and a collective escape from modernity.The nostalgia of the floating population is a dilemma between the separation and reconstruction of the home and the township,the dilemma of the advancement and retreat,and the sense of loss of the roots.(6)The countermeasures to relieve nostalgia of the floating population are as follows: Dispel time and space isolation,actively promote local urbanization;improve living experience,rationally plan urban village reconstruction;deepen social integration and enhance the sense of belonging of floating population.This study is the inheritance and deepening of the nostalgic research framework from the perspective of geography.The results help to understand the role of nostalgia in the process of new urbanization.It has certain reference value for retaining the nostalgia of the floating population,promoting the social integration and new urbanization construction.
