Objective: strength training can effectively delay the loss of skeletal muscle quality and muscle strength in the middle-aged and the elderly, especially to prevent muscle atrophy caused by low exercise volume and age.Through the test of female skeletal muscle quality and multiple muscle strength, this study explored the positive effect of strength fitness on alleviating the decrease of skeletal muscle quality and muscle strength in 45 women aged 60 years old.Subjects and methods: according to the movement of women, they were divided into sedentary group and strength group. In each group,20 women aged 45 / 50,51 /55 and 56 / 60 were selected as subjects. The body mass index(BMI),skeletal muscle mass, basic metabolic rate(BMR),body fat rate(PDF),waist hip ratio(WHR),grip strength, back force, longitudinal jump, arm flexion muscle strength, knee extension muscle strength, knee flexion muscle strength, hip extension muscle strength and hip flexion muscle strength were compared and analyzed by means of literature, mathematical statistics and test. The results show that:1.The average skeletal muscle mass in the sedentary group was(21 ±0.79)kg,51-55(45 ±0.79)kg.and(21.81 ±3.99)kg,56 / 60 years old(20.68 ±1.55)kg.in the sedentary group. The average mass of skeletal muscle in the strength group was(22.01 ±3.05)kg,51-55,(21.56 ±1.35)kg,56-60,(21.35 ±1.06)kg.2.The weight of skeletal muscle in sedentary group showed inverted U curve with age.45-55 years old increased 4%,but 51-60 years old decreased 5.8%.The weight of skeletal muscle in the strength group decreased with the increase of age.The weight of skeletal muscle decreased 2.1% at age 45-55 and 1% at age 51-60.3.In sedentary group, the decline rate of left and right grip strength was 45-55 years old(-0.4%,6.9%)and 51-60 years old(-6.6%,11.3%).In the strength group, the decline rate of left and right grip strength was 45-55 years old(9.8%,3.5%)and51-60 years old(1.8%,8.2%).In the sedentary group, the decline rate of left and right arm flexors was 45-55 years old(-9.4%,3.9%)and 51-60 years old(-8.8%,9.9%).The decline rate of left and right flexor muscles in the strength group was 45 years old and 55 years old,respectively.(-4.6%,9.1%),51 years old(12.8%,12.6%).4.In the sedentary group, the decline rate of left and right flexion was 45-55 years old(4.7%,12%)and 51-60 years old(-4.2%,2.9%).In the strength group, the decline rate of left and right flexion muscle strength was 45-55 years old(-13.8%,19.7%)and 51-60 years old(14.1%,15.9%).In the sedentary group, the decline rate of left and right extensor muscle force was 45-55 years old(-9.8%,14.2%)and51-60 years old(-2.6%,0.2%),while in the strength group, the decline rate of the left-and right-lateral extensor muscle force was 4.4 years old(-9.8%,14.2%)and51-60 years old(-2.6%,0.2%),respectively.They are 55(8.4%,9.6%)and 51-60(-9.7%,9.4%).5.In the sedentary group, the decline rate of left and right flexion of hip was45-55 years old(-34.2%,23.9%)and 51-60-year-old(13.1%,8.1%).In the strength group, the decline rate of left and right flexion muscle strength was 45-55 years old(-17.5%,9.3%)and 51-60-year-old(26.7%,2.1%),respectively.In the sedentary group, the decline rate of the left and right extension of the hip muscle was 45-55 years old(-17%,12%)and 51-60 years old(-1%,6.8%),and that in the strength group was 45-5years old(-17%,12%)and 51-60-year-old(-1%,6.8%),respectively,and that in the strength group was 45 5 years old. They are 5(-15.4%,9.8%)and 51-60(21.2%,17.7%).6.In the sedentary group, the decline rate was 45 / 55(-13.7%),51 / 60(1.4%),45 / 55(-27.5%)and 51 / 60(2.3%),respectively,and that in the sedentary group was45 / 55(-27.5%)and 51 / 60(2.3%),respectively,while that in the sedentary group was 55(-13.7%)and 51 / 60(1.4%)respectively.In the strength group, the decline rate was 45 / 55(-4.2%),51 / 60(-4.1%),and 45 / 55(-8.9%)and 51 / 60(-7.8%),respectively,while that of the strength group was 45 / 55(-4.2%),51 / 60(-4.1%),45 / 55(-8.9%)and 51 / 60(-7.8%)respectively.7.In sedentary group, the decline rate of female back strength was 45 / 55(-30.7%)and 51 / 60(15.3%).The decline rate of female back strength in the strength group was 45 / 55(-7.1%)and 51 / 60(11.5%).Conclusion:1.The BMI(body mass index)index of the long-seated female in the period of1.45 to 60 years has a U-shape with the increase of the age,and the female BMI in the strength group is characterized by a linear increase. The BMR(basal metabolic rate)of the sedentary female is also a U-shaped feature, while the strength training female is a U-shaped change feature.2.Under the age of 2.45-60,the muscle mass is decreasing with age.In contrast, the muscle mass of women who are often subjected to strength training is lower than that of sedentary women, and the degree of muscle loss is small.3.In that age of 50-60,the strength of the force-training group is higher than that of the female in the age of the same age, whether in the force of the large muscle4.group,the strength of the small muscle group or the full-body explosive force.5.The strength training has positive significance for relieving the neuromuscular physiological problems such as the loss of the muscle, the reduction of the muscle strength, the level of explosive force and the like, and the prevention of the decline of the exercise function of the middle-aged and the elderly, and the decline of the quality of life.
