A Comparative Study On Scoring Methods And Scoring Areas Of Chinese And Japanese Women's Basketball Teams

The FIBA Asian women's basketball championship,also known as the Asian championship,was founded in 1965 and renamed the women's Asian basketball cup in 2017.Two teams from Oceania,Australia and New Zealand,joined for the first time.As of 2017,it has held 27 sessions.In the previous 24 Asian championships,the Chinese women's basketball team has won a total of 11 times,while the Japanese women's basketball team only won the championship in the third Asian championships in 1970,the team strength is not as good as the Chinese women's basketball team.In the recent three Asian championships,the Japanese women's basketball team won three consecutive titles,the team's strength by leaps and bounds.In this paper,video analysis method and mathematical statistics method are used to analyze the scoring methods and scoring areas of the representative matches between Chinese and Japanese women's basketball teams in the recent three Asian women's basketball championships,so as to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese women's basketball and Japanese women's basketball in the matches and grasp the development trend of the top teams in Asia.The statistical indicators include two-point scoring,three-point scoring,free-throw scoring,fast-break scoring,subbasket scoring,mid-range scoring,and three-point scoring.The conclusions are as follows:1.The overall scoring strength of the Chinese women's basketball team is relatively weak compared with that of the Japanese women's basketball team.The alternation between the old and the new is serious in the Chinese women's basketball team.2,the Chinese women's basketball binary scoring percentage and the percentage is lower than Japan,the Chinese women's basketball team's 3-point shooting ability is poorer,three attaches great importance to the ability than the Japanese women's basketball team is weak,and China women's basketball team from the free-throw line was lower than those of the Japanese women's basketball team,Chinese team player and basic skills is poor,met strong team of high quality results in the decrease of shooting.3.The Chinese women's basketball team has a low score in the fast break counterattack,which is mainly due to the inaccurate grasp of the timing of tackling and the weak awareness of serving the baseline ball and grabbing the rebound,so it cannot form a high-quality fast break counterattack.4.In the scoring area under the basket,the Chinese women's basketball guards are weaker than the Japanese women's basketball in their ability to attack the basket.The forwards have certain advantages over the Japanese women's basketball forwards,and the Chinese women's basketball centers have certain advantages,but their skills under the basket are not solid and still not dominant.5.In the scoring area of the middle distance,the shooting ability of Chinese women's basketball guards is poor compared with that of Japanese women's basketball guards in breaking through the emergency stop and after the pick-and-roll.The forwards score better in the scoring area than the Japanese women's basketball forwards,and the shooting rate of Chinese women's basketball centers in the scoring area is lower than that of Japanese women's basketball centers.6.In the three-point area,the Chinese women's basketball center has the three-point shooting ability,but most of them have to shoot when the time comes,and the shooting rate is not stable.The Chinese women's basketball guards and forwards have lower three-point shooting ability than the Japanese women's basketball guards and forwards,and they do not adapt to the rapid development of contemporary basketball very well.
