An Empirical Analysis Of The Impact Of The National Games On The Economic And Social Development Of The Place

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that China's economy has shifted from a high-speed growth stage to a high-quality development stage,and is in the process of transforming the development mode,optimizing the economic structure,and transforming the growth momentum.Based on how to change the way,excellent structure,change of power and close attention to the national large-scale sports events,through the empirical analysis of the existing macro data,this paper seeks to explore the impact of the National Games on the economic and social development.The National Games of the People's Republic of China(referred to as the"National Games")is the highest level and largest comprehensive sports meeting in China.Its competition duration,venue size,number of participants,project settings,competition level and even the number of audiences are all related to the Olympic Games.no big difference.Compared with the influence of the Olympic Games and the difficulty of bidding,the spontaneity and autonomy of the National Games have become very valuable.However,how to measure the influence of the National Games has discouraged many researchers,and how to improve the influence of the National Games is even more difficult to talk about.This paper is trying to solve the above difficulties.Firstly,from the economic level,using the available macroeconomic data,fitting the National Games holding cycle and the economic growth cycle of the National Games,we find that there is a certain relationship between them..After that,construct the economic impact model framework,and try to exclude irrelevant influencing factors through model derivation,and lay a foundation for further quantifying the impact of the National Games on the economic growth and social development of the host city.After that,through the collection of macroeconomic data from the previous National Games before and after the National Games,the macroeconomic data of the venue of the National Games will be processed through panel regression analysis,and the exploration will be held before and after the National Games.Influencing factors in all aspects of economic and social development.In order to reveal the net influencing factors of the impact of the National Games on the economic growth of the host city,we also use the research ideas of natural experiments and the data processing method of double difference to compare the cities that hold the National Games with the cities that do not hold the National Games.For example,the degree of net impact of the National Games on the economic development of the host city is demonstrated.Finally,the principal component analysis method is used to explore the social development influencing factors other than the economic influencing factors.By comparing the social development indicators of the National Games and the reduction of the data in recent years,the social development is reflected.The comprehensive development indicators of the society can be used to predict the impact of the National Games on social development by comparing the changes in the social comprehensive indicators of the National Games.Through the above analysis,the main conclusions drawn in this paper are mainly divided into two aspects.On the one hand,the holding of the National Games has a significant positive impact on the economic development of the venue.Among them,household consumption and capital formation are the two main factors that affect the economy of the National Games.On the other hand,the impact of the National Games on the social development of the host city is not significant.If you conduct in-depth research,you must obtain more relevant data for analysis and induction in the future.Regarding the countermeasures and suggestions,it is recommended that the National Games organizers,that is,the local government find the right point,and use more financial funds to improve the consumption level and capital formation of local residents.Try to avoid borrowing from the National Games to increase government spending and cause unnecessary waste.Local governments should respect the market with a more objective attitude,play the role of resource allocation,assume the responsibility of guiding and promoting the rational distribution of resources,and enable the economic and social aspects of the National Games to be more healthy in the future.
