In 2018,the "football gymnastics" incident in Meizhou City triggered another heated discussion on campus football.foot teachers are the executors of campus football work.Their understanding of the connotation of campus football directly determines the direction and quality of the development of campus football in a certain sense.Qingyang City is located in the remote northwest of China.it belongs to a kind of district whose economic development is relatively backward in the whole country.The development of campus football and the level of football teachers' understanding towards the connotation of campus football indirectly affect the overall progress of campus football in China.The purpose of this paper is to actively respond to the policy call of vigorously developing campus football by the state,to deeply understand the actual development of campus football in Qingyang City and the football teachers' understanding of the connotation of campus football,to find out the factors restricting the understanding of the connotation of campus football by football teachers in Qingyang City,and to put forward corresponding suggestions and improvement measures,so as to better improve the football teachers' understanding of campus football and promote the development of campus football in Qingyang City.By using the methods of documentation,expert interviews,questionnaire survey,field research and development,and mathematical statistics,this paper investigates and analyses the current situation of campus football development in Qingyang Football Characteristic School and football teachers' understanding of campus football,and finds out the factors influencing the current situation of football teachers' understanding.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Most of the football teachers in Qingyang Football Characteristic School have a good understanding of the guiding spirit,value orientation,organizational guarantee and practical form of campus football.Only a small number of football teachers have insufficient understanding of the problems involved and need to be further strengthened.2.Some football teachers in Qingyang Football Characteristic School are disconnected from the understanding that campus football can train football reserve talents for our country;there is no clear relationship between campus football and core literacy;the development of campus football can not be separated from the combination of sports and education is not clear;and the campus football culture can not be comprehensively and profoundly understood.Being guided by the idea of football education,adhere to the mode of combination of sports and education,educational departments should take the initiative to guide football teachers to fully understand the importance of campus football,and to cultivate all-round football reserve talents.3 In Qingyang Football Characteristic School,there are few specialized football teachers who with weak football knowledge and low cultural literacy,which restrict their in-depth understanding of the connotation of campus football.We should train existing football teachers reasonably and rely on high-quality football teachers to comprehensively improve their understanding of football knowledge and campus football.4 The objective environment of Qingyang Football Characteristic School,such as insufficient venues,fewer matches,fewer football courses,parents' disapproval,leaders' neglect,and poor football atmosphere,interferes with football teachers' understanding of the connotation of campus football.Schools can increase publicity efforts,actively carry out football culture festivals,rely on influential football experts and players to carry out campus football forum,change parents,students and some teachers' understanding of campus football.
