The concept of "core literacy system" was first put forward in the profile named" On Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Morality Education”issued by the Ministry of Education in 2014.Since then,"core literacy" has become the focus of educational research.Various disciplines have put forward the corresponding core literacy to establish the internal relationship between core literacy and curriculum teaching.The core literacy of biology is mainly divided into four items:life concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.This paper chooses the model construction of scientific thinking to carry out research.As an important ability,model construction appears frequently in the college entrance examination,and plays an important role in students' further studying and development.Teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' model construction abilities in the class.However,the limitation of class,the lack of space and materials for model construction,and the lack of teachers' theoretical knowledge and corresponding teaching experience seriously restrict the cultivation of model construction.While the development of multimedia technology which provides more multimedia technical means for teaching.Therefore,the author thinks about whether multimedia technology can be used to assist the teaching of model construction to avoid some defects of traditional teaching methods and provide a way of thinking for cultivating students'core quality of biology.The study adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and action research.The version of teachers'questionnaire was distributed to the group of Zhengzhou high school biological teachers by Wechat and QQ,and the student version of the questionnaire to the WeChat group and QQ group of students in zhengzhou no.101 middle school to collect data for analysis.Choose three typical lessons,including physical model,mathematical model and conceptual model,select classes with similar overall level for comparative researching,test class for multimedia teaching,common class for routine teaching,which include pre-test and post-test.Collecting data for analysis,and analyze the grades of their monthly and mid-term examination.and then observe the long-term impact.This study found that the effect of using multimedia technology to cultivate the ability of model training is better than the traditional teaching,which can effectively improve the performance of biology subject.
