Since the Ministry of education put forward the module teaching in the general high school curriculum plan(Experiment)in 2003,it has become the current approved teaching mode of high school physical education."New curriculum reform" has played an important guiding role in the teaching of all kinds of schools at all levels since its trial implementation,and also put forward new requirements in the teaching of physical education in senior middle schools.In order to better carry out the sports module teaching in the context of the new curriculum and promote the comprehensive application of the sports module teaching in Heyang high school sports teaching,this paper takes the current situation of the implementation of the sports module teaching in Heyang high school as the research object,and takes all the high schools in Heyang County that implement the module teaching as the research object,using the field investigation method,logical analysis method,interview method,etc,This paper investigates and sorts out the current situation of module teaching in the process of physical education teaching in Heyang high school,and makes a comprehensive analysis from the aspects of module teaching items,school physical education teachers,and teachers and students' attitude towards module teaching,so as to find out the problems existing in module teaching and provide corresponding solutions.The results show that:The main problems in the implementation of physical education module in Heyang high school include: the school managers don't pay enough attention to it,the management mechanism is not perfect;the gender ratio gap of physical education teachers is too large,and the special specialty structure is single;the module courses aresingle,all kinds of folk sports and new sports have not been carried out;affected by the material conditions,the construction of school site and infrastructure It needs to be further improved;there are few extracurricular sports activities,and the teaching effect of module teaching can not be verified and consolidated;some teachers lack of understanding of sports module teaching method,and the teaching quality is difficult to be guaranteed.The main ways to improve and improve the quality of physical education module teaching in Heyang County are as follows: school administrators need to change the marginalization of physical education,let the module teaching return to the right track,find a balance point between the enrollment rate and quality-oriented education,so as to implement the specific requirements of teaching in the new curriculum reform,and establish a sound management mechanism.Optimize the structure of teachers,speed up the introduction of foreign excellent teachers,and reasonably allocate the number of male and female teachers,cultivate composite PE teachers.According to the actual situation of the school,we should increase the module project reasonably,and design a complete set of teaching plan and content according to the current module teaching situation.We should distribute the existing facilities more reasonably and increase the effective utilization of the site.The extracurricular sports activities will be normalized and the educational function of school sports will be brought into full play.Increase the publicity of the new curriculum reform,improve the teachers and students' understanding of the advantages of module teaching.Graduate: Fang Xianqiao(Major Subject teaching(Physical Education))Directed by: prof.Du Chunbin.
