Swiss ball was first invented as a kind of children's toy.Later,scholars found that the practice of Swiss ball helped to cure people with motor nerve damage.After decades of research and development,Swiss ball gradually became a method of core stability training.Swiss ball is easy to carry because of the characteristics of schools,families,health clubs,training teams can be seen everywhere,become a public fitness equipment is widely used.The long jump consists of four parts: run-up,take-off,take-off and landing.In the long jump,the run-up and take-off are the key parts of the long jump.Among all the factors affecting the performance of the long jump,the contribution rate of the run-up speed to the performance is as high as more than 70%.In the aerial movement,because the take-off will produce the body forward rotation,the aerial task is to maintain the body balance to overcome the body forward rotation generated by the body,to make the best body posture for landing.People in the air is unable to borrow force,in the air stage mainly depends on the core stability of the body itself to control the body posture,the core stability is more easy to control the body posture to make perfect air movements.Swiss ball training process,mainly exercises the core muscle group,chest muscle,shoulder muscle group and gluteus muscle,improve the core stability,which in the long jump process and the athletes do the air movement muscle group is related.In this paper,8 athletes of the long jump training team of wuhan institute of physical education were involved in the intervention experiment by using the methods of literature,mathematical statistics and experiment.The test results are divided into two aspects for comparative analysis.On the one hand,the test of the long jump special strength and long jump performance.Through 8 weeks of winter training,the indicators of the control group and the experimental group were obtained,and the data were analyzed.The research results of this paper are as follows:(1)from the core stability indexes of the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment,Swiss ball training is better than traditional strength training;From the strength test index of long jump before and after the experiment,the training effect of Swiss ball is more significant.From the long jump performance before and after the experiment,the experimental group overall long jump performance is better than the controlgroup(2)in the long jump training process,especially the first and second level athletes,the participation of Swiss ball training can effectively improve the performance of the long jump,so as to improve the performance of the long jump,Swiss ball training can be extended to the long jump training teams of major sports colleges.In various universities,for sports students,improving their core stability can increase their performance in the long jump.For college students,the Swiss ball training,with special practice,can make a correct and complete long jump.(3)The emphasis of Swiss ball training is different from that of traditional strength training.Swiss ball training focuses on physical stability and has a more significant effect on small muscle groups.While traditional strength training is more focused on the large muscle group,the impact on explosive force is more significant.Therefore,both have their own advantages and limitations,in the training process,in order to steadily improve the performance of the long jump,the need for a reasonable combination of the two training,will achieve twice the result with half the effort.
