Language is not only a tool for human communication,but also a tool for expressing inner world and thinking.For a nation,as a culture,its language is not only a tool for people to communicate and think,but also a carrier of national civilization and culture.English linguist Palmer pointed out that "language faithfully reflects the whole history and culture of a nation,and faithfully reflects its various games and entertainment,beliefs and prejudices." Therefore,it can be said that mother tongue is one of the unique characteristics of a nation,different from other nations.The mother tongue in this paper is the native language,which is acquired by a person from childhood.The language acquired by Mongolian people from childhood is Mongolian,so the development of Mongolian represents the prosperity of Mongolian.With the development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the language environment of Mongolian gradually decreases.Therefore,Mongolian children are less and less taught in Mongolian,which leads to the loss of Mongolian mother tongue and Mongolian culture.Because of the importance of mother tongue learning and inheriting Mongolian culture,the current situation of Urban Mongolian children's mother tongue education has attracted people's attention,which has become a problem that can not be ignored.The key period for Mongolian children to receive mother tongue education is early childhood.If a person gives up the learning of his own language from early childhood,it will not be conducive to the learning of his mother tongue and the inheritance and development of Mongolian culture.This paper uses questionnaire,interview,literature and observation methods to investigate the leaders,kindergarten teachers,parents and children of four Mongolian kindergartens in Huhhot city(hereinafter referred to as "Huhhot city"),to understand the current situation of mother tongue education in Mongolian kindergartens in Huhhot city,and from the four aspects of goal,content,implementation and evaluation Content analysis of its problems.Through the analysis of the above problems,the reasons can be summarized into three aspects: kindergarten leaders,teachers and parents.The kindergarten leaders include: the lack of professional mother tongue education teachers in kindergarten,the lack of training and teaching research activities related to the improvement of mother tongue education ability in kindergarten.The preschool teachers include: the lack of Mongolian cultural knowledge reserves,the individual differences of Mongolian oral expression ability,and the lack of native language education ability.Parents of children include: parents of children pay less attention to mother tongue education,children's families lack of environment for mother tongue education,etc.The author also puts forward the following measures in view of the problems existing in the mother tongue education of Mongolian kindergartens in the urban area of Hohhot and the related factors: to improve the awareness of the inheritance of Mongolian culture;to strengthen the curriculum construction of teachers and mother tongue education;to improve the quality of mother tongue education activities in kindergartens;to create a comprehensive mother tongue education environment;to strengthen the integration of Mongolian culture inheritance and mother tongue education Encourage parents to actively participate in the mother tongue education of kindergartens,in order to provide enlightenment and help for the mother tongue education of Mongolian kindergartens in the urban area of Hohhot.
