As the most natural and basic living state of human beings,"physical activity" enables people to achieve a sustained and efficient balance of energy intake and consumption in the long-term evolution process. However,as the level of globalization continues to increase, our level of physical activity has shown a downward trend, which has gradually affected human health. Therefore,it is important to find out the factors that affect the level of physical activity. The purpose of this study is to explore whether the level of physical activity of college students is affected by their functional level of action, thus providing effective ideas and methods for improving the physical activity level of college students, promoting the physical health of college students, and developing the habit of lifelong sports. This paper takes the functional level of college students and the level of physical activity and the relationship between them as the research object.314 college students are selected, and the physical activity level is investigated by the International Physical Activity Questionnaire(IPAQ)questionnaire.FMS measures its functional level of action, describes its statistics, analyses the differences between boys and girls, correlates them, and performs regression analysis to explore whether there is a correlation between the level of physical activity of college students and the level of functional action and whether there is a difference between different genders. The conclusions of the study are as follows:1.The functional level of college students is medium to high, and the overall level of boys is higher than that of girls. In the seven action modes of Functional Movement Screening(FMS),there is a significant difference between boys and girls in five test items: hurdle step, shoulder flexibility, active knee lift, torso stability and rotational stability.Among the two test items of shoulder flexibility and active knee-lifting,the test score of girls is better than that of boys;in the three test items of hurdle step, trunk stability and rotation stability, the test score of boys is better than that of girls.2.85.67% of students are in the middle and high physical activity level, and 14.33% of students are in the low physical activity level. There is a very significant difference in physical activity between male and female students. The physical activity of male students is higher than that of female students.College students sit still for too long and girls are sitting longer than boys every day.3.There is a certain correlation between College Students' physical activity level and functional movement level, but there is a weak correlation(r=0.039).4.Although there is a weak correlation between them, there are 3 of the seven action modes which have significant effects on physical activity. In the overall sample, the level of physical activity of college students is positively correlated with the movement pattern of rotary stability, and has significant impact;and negatively correlated with the movement pattern of shoulder mobility, and has significant impact. In the male sample, the correlation between the level of physical activity and the rotary stability movement pattern of college students is higher than that of other movement patterns, which is significant and positively correlated. In the sample of female students, the level of physical activity of college students is positively correlated with the movement pattern of rotary stability, and has significant impact, while negatively correlated with the movement pattern of active straight-leg raise, which has significant impact.5.The coordination ability of limb flexibility and stability of the body core may be the main factors affecting college students' participation in physical activities.
