Research On Evolution Characteristics Of Competitive Strength Pattern Of Winter Olympic Games

The 23rd PyeongChang Winter Olympics ended in Pyeongchang,South Korea on February 25,2018.Beijing Mayor Chen Jining took the winter Olympics flag from the hands of the International Olympic Committee President Bach.The Winter Olympics Officially entering Beijing time,the world once again focused on Beijing and focused on China.Beijing,China has become the first city to host both the Summer Olympics and the Winter Olympics.The Winter Olympics will promote the development of winter sports in China to a certain extent,improve the popularity of ice and snow,and promote the transformational development of existing ice and snow industry.This paper mainly uses the literature data method,mathematical statistics method,logic analysis method,case analysis method and other research methods to analyze the countries that have won medals in previous Winter Olympic Games.According to the classification criteria of the Pingchang Winter Olympics official online project,the Winter Olympics will be held.The project is divided into three categories: ice sports,snow sports,and sliding sports.And through conducting the classification discussion and analysis,drawing the following conclusions:(1)Ice sports have experienced four stages: 1)Norway occupied the top spot in the gold medal list from 1924 to 1952,followed by high-latitude countries;2)the rise of the Soviet Union from 1956 to 1976,surpassing Norway's gold medal list;3)From1980 to 1992,Germany surpassed the Soviet Union to become the first hegemon,and the power gap between countries gradually decreased;4)The multi-polarization pattern gradually formed from 1994 to 2018,but the high-latitude countries still have the advantages.(2)Snow sports have experienced three stages: 1)Norway dominated the snow sports from 1924 to 1952,the Nordic countries occupied the top three;2)the rise of the Soviet Union from 1956 to 1988,the project strength gap narrowed;3)1992-2018,Norway regained its dominance and the strength of the country is stable.(3)The skating movement has gone through two stages: 1)Switzerland and the United States in 1924-1948,and Britain,France and Germany followed closely;2)Germany dominated the sliding movement from 1952 to 2018.With its rich ice and snow resources,developed economy,and advanced training concepts and training methods,European countries will continue to lead the World Winter Olympics.The strength will be challenged by the United States and Asian countries.Obviously,from the total number of medals won in the recent Winter Olympic Games,European countries have more winners,and the gold medals account for more than half of the total medals,in Norway,Germany,the Netherlands,Sweden,Switzerland,The “First Group” of the Winter Olympics,which is dominated by France and Austria,is a strong country.With advanced training methods,technical and tactical level and experience will lead the world in the future Winter Olympics.Strong overall competitiveness with Canada,occupying a certain position in ice,snow,and taxiing,and will weaken the dominance of Europe in the future development.As Asia's overall strength rises,it will It will further weaken Europe's dominance of the Winter Olympics project.The competition among European countries will be more decentralized and control “one big”.Under the premise of discussing and analyzing the basic laws of the competitive strength pattern of previous Winter Olympic Games,this paper analyzes the awards of China since participating in the Winter Olympics,discusses the development trend of China's future winter sports,and explores China's advantageous projects,potential advantages and weak projects.Seek ways to make greater breakthroughs in China's winter sports.Through the IOC website to sort out and study the Winter Olympics project,the project classification of the Winter Olympic Games,analysis of the distribution and evolution of the competition pattern of the three major sports such as snow sports,ice sports and sliding sports in the Winter Olympics.Conduct a historical analysis to understand the location of China's winter Olympic sports strength in the world,and provide reasonable advice for the development of China's ice and snow projects.At the upcoming Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics,we will achieve good results in our China's advantageous projects,and we will have a good breakthrough in the preparation of the Olympic cycle on non-advantageous projects;better promote the development of China's ice and snow industry and further increase China's The level of sports undertakings,promote China's transition from a big sports country to asports power,and provide theoretical basis and rationalization suggestions for China's successful hosting of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics to capture ideal results.
