The vocabulary of "second generation" is frequent, and the phenomenon of "second generation" has attracted widespread attention in society."Official second generation","rich second generation" and "poor second generation" not only reflect the difference of intergenerational transmission between different groups, but also reflect the trend of intergenerational solidification. At present, intergenerational solidification has attracted attention and has become a problem that cannot be ignored in social development. In particular, the intergenerational solidification of rural society is not conducive to the flow of farmers.Education seems to be the primary tool and the only means to crack down on intergenerational solidification. In this context, this paper studies the mechanism of education 's impact on the intergenerational income transfer of farmers, focuses on the microscopic sample of the China Household Income Survey(CHIPS),and examines the path of education 's impact on the intergenerational income of farmers.Has a certain meaning. The main structure of this article is as follows. The first chapter expounds the research background and significance, sorts out the domestic and foreign research status, clarifies the thinking, methods and technical routes of this article, and proposes innovations and deficiencies. The second chapter is theoretical analysis, defining the core concepts of this study, constructing an intergenerational human capital transmission and transmission model to analyze the intergenerational income transmission path, and discussing the factors that affect the intergenerational income elasticity based on borrowing constraint heterogeneity. The third chapter is the research design, explaining the data sources, variable selection and processing of this study, focusing on the methods of intermediary effect test and quantile regression. The fourth chapter uses the methods of intermediary effect test and quantile regression to explore the path of farmers' intergenerational income transmission, and to clarify the relationship between the education level of the offspring and the intergenerational income transmission.Chapter 5 draws corresponding conclusions on the basis of previous research, and puts forward policy recommendations based on the researchresults. This article draws the following conclusions: first, the intergenerational income transferability of rural residents in China is high;second, education plays a partial intermediary role in the intergenerational income transfer of farmers;third, the income and education level of the parent significantly affects the offspring Education level;fourth, the higher the farmer 's income, the lower the intergenerational income transferability.Based on theoretical and empirical conclusions, this article proposes the following policy recommendations: first, increase financial support for rural education;second, fill the short board of rural teachers;third, improve the rural social security system.
