The 21 st century is an information age.With the wide application application of new technologies such as big data,Internet and intelligent mobile terminals in all sectors of society,the pace of overall social information is acceleration and the revolutionary impact of information technology on education is increasingly obvious,especially the media change under the influence of technology.Media reading and media literacy have also received attention from the research field of Chinese education.Paper media,electronic media,digital media and new media have appeared.Students' reading methods have also broken through the traditional paper-based media reading and moved toward more open and rich "cross-media reading".And in the Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary high schools(2017 edition)(hereinafter referred to as the "new curriculum standards"),"cross-media reading and communication" is put forward in the form of task group for the first time,which is enough to confirm the important position of media reading teaching in Chinese reading teaching in high schools.Therefore,in the context of the realistic requirements of the media era,the requirements of students' reading style changes and the teaching requirements of the new curriculum standards,"cross-media reading" in high school Chinese reading teaching should be paid attention to.To enable students to obtain information,communicate and express in "cross-media reading",to develop the ability of information identification and to understand the characteristics and rules of different media in the process of reading,which is not only the requirement of the new curriculum standards but also the requirements of The Times for students' ability.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background,research significance,researchreview,research problems to be solved,research innovation,and defines the related concepts of "cross-media reading".The first chapter introduces the background of "cross-media reading",which is mainly divided into the era background and the teaching background of the new curriculum standard,providing the corresponding support for "cross-media reading" and its teaching value.The second chapter analyzes and compares the differences between "cross-media reading" and traditional reading,mainly from the perspective of reading and teaching.The reading part mainly compares the objects and methods of "cross-media reading" and traditional reading.The teaching part makes a comparison from the three aspects of target,content and method to provide the basis for the teaching strategy.Chapter three summarizes the characteristics and challenges of "cross-media reading" on the basis ofcomparison.Chapter four puts forward corresponding teaching Suggestions on the basis of teaching value,teaching characteristics and teaching challenges of "cross-media reading",and expounds teaching principles,teaching methods and teaching evaluation respectively."Cross-media reading" is a product of the development of The Times and the development trend of high school Chinese reading teaching.Chinese teachers should constantly update the teaching philosophy and teaching methods,actively introduce "cross-media reading" into high school Chinese classes,and improve students'media literacy and Chinese literacy in the "cross-media" that combines teaching with entertainment.
