The word "media" began to appear in the Xi Jin dynasty.With the development of the society,the connotation and function of "media" are constantly changing and developing.From the perspective of media development,we generally divide media into traditional media and new media.Traditional media mainly include newspapers,radio and television.The new media is a relative concept,and now there are mainly computers,mobile phones and so on.The media is closely related to our daily life,and the new curriculum standards suggest that Chinese courses should focus on interdisciplinary learning,focus on the application of scientific and technological means,and broaden the learning field of Chinese language.The emphasis here is on integrating media and language courses.Cultivating the students' reading literacy is one of the Chinese curriculum teaching important points.Being aware of the different reading media influence on student's reading scores and learning to use medium in the process of reading are worthy of our attention to content.At present,the research on reading media has gotten some achievements,but there are still some shortcomings.This paper mainly takes the paper media and digital media as an example to discuss the influence of media on students' reading performance,and puts forward corresponding Suggestions.In the first chapter,according to the previous research results,firstly defining the concept of media,then explaining the development process of media,and finally classifing the media.In the second chapter,I sorted out the questionnaire survey and the reading test volume,and carried out descriptive statistics.I compared the performance of students in print media and digital media from five aspects:reading duration,reading motivation,reading content,reading mode and media reading advantage.At the same time,SPSS is used to analyze the relationship between students' questionnaire data and students'reading scores.In the third chapter,I focus on the problems and causes of the use of reading media.The reason analysis mainly discusses the development of new media,the importance of media,the way of presentation of media information and the openness of media.In the fourth chapter,putting forward some corresponding teaching suggestions based on reading medium.Firstly,the importance of media should be improved;Secondly,teachers should pay attention to the all-round development of students in the teaching goal of media literacy,adhere to the combination of modern and traditional on the teaching means,encourage exploratory teaching,integrate media literacy into teaching process;Thirdly,parents should pay more attention to their children's reading in their daily life.Finally,students should master scientific and reasonable reading methods.
