The Significance Of Design Education In Middle And High School

With the advent of a new era,the design of this discipline has also received more attention.People are increasingly aware that excellent design is an effective means to enhance national design awareness and aesthetic appreciation.Although the design education of higher education institutions has achieved considerable development,basic design education,especially at the junior high school level,is still at a stage of development.This article aims to achieve the following goals by using junior and senior high school design education as its research object: First of all,it systematically studies and combs the development of design and design education.Subsequently,according to the author's field visits and research,the development of design education at the junior high school in Jiaozuo City was used as a research case to explore the role of design education,promotion and problems.It also compares the advantages and features of design education in Western developed countries and arranges teaching experience in other countries.Finally,based on the content of the research and investigation,the importance of the promotion of design education in the middle school and high school is explained.It shows that under the contemporary education system,promoting design education at the junior high school level has the significance and importance of adapting to the development of the new era,cultivating students' creative thinking,building a complete design education system,and helping the development of psychological health of junior middle school students.Only by fully paying attention to and promoting the development of design education can we give full play to the due value and important role of design education in cultivating talents for comprehensive development.
