The performance of PDC bits fundamentally depends mainly on the cutting mechanics performance.Analysis of mechanical properties on PDC bit is the core of PDC bit design and optimization,but the domestic cutting mechanical model is still not perfect.This paper on the existing cutting mechanics model made summaries and analysis,proposes a method of establishing surface separation type cutting mechanical model;and carries out the experimental single tooth cutting mechanics for different cutting conditions,establishes the separation of surface cutting mechanics model by combining with numerical analysis method.The work in this paper mainly include:1.Experiment of single tooth cutting mechanics in different cutting conditions,and analyses the relationship between load and area of rock cutting scraping,the relationship between cutting load and tooth size,the relationship between cutting load per unit area and the anteversion angle,the relationship between cutting load and rock properties,the relationship between cutting load and side rake angle,the relationship between cutting load and distance.2.Establishes PDC tooth cutting rock finite element model,and makes numerical analysis by changing the PDC tooth structure parameters and cutting parameters;analyses the influence of tooth angle on the overall effect of cutting load,the influence of tooth angle on the effect of cutting load,effect of tooth angle on the chamfer face cutting load,effect of tooth chamfer length on the cutting load,effect of different cutting depth on the f cutting force,effect of different cutting arc length on cutting load.3.Proposes a method of establishing surface separation type cutting mechanical model,and establishes a combination of separate cutting surface mechanical model by cutting mechanics experiments and numerical analysis.This paper obtains some cutting load rules in the cutting experiment and numerical analysis of single tooth,not only has the important theory significance on understanding the mechanism of rock fragmentation of rock cutting,mechanical behavior,but also provides the establishment of mechanical cutting model with a data support.Mechanical cutting model has an important guiding significance for the prediction of changing law of PDC cutter load,and provides a theoretical basis for understanding the wearing rules of PDC cutter.
