Traditional lacquer art is one of the important parts of China s intangible cultural heritage.How to inherit and develop intangible cultural heritage?Productive protection and innovation are effective ways of inheritance.Under the background of post-industrialization era,people's ideology and lifestyle have changed a lot,lacquer art products have been used less and less in people's daily life.It is not only because of the limitations of lacquer technology and technical conditions but also because of the influence of the rapid and efficient modern material technology development.Nowadays most people,especially some young people,do not even know the materials and technology of natural lacquer at all.How to develop and carry on this traditional lacquer art becomes quite urgent.This kind of lacquer technology has a history of nearly 7,000 years and has created more than 200 techniques in China.The lacquer material itself has natural antiseptic&preservative effect and it is also Sterilizable,anti corrosive,insulative and durable.the natural and environmental-friendly lacquer material meet the needs of low-carbon sustainable development advocated by modern people.Its aesthetic decorative language has unique noble and elegant temperament,which can be mixed with any different materials,making it highly decorative and meet needs of contemporary personalized product customization.Under the trend of pursuing culture and individuality in people's life nowadays,products are not only the medium to determine the quality and function of life,but also the carrier to show regional culture and artistic individuality.Therefore,the study of industrial product design and innovative application of lacquer technology,the rational integration of traditional technology and modern innovative design,can expand the possibility of conversion of traditional resources into contemporary design,make traditional lacquer technology into modern people's life,so as to guide and expand the market space for lacquer industry products and expand popularization of lacquer technology.In this paper,through the previous market research,social practice and return visits,we found that there lack of modern products,especially industrial products,which use large-scale lacquer technology.In the background of the transition which is driven mainly by innovation,from industrial society to knowledge society,industrial product design needs to have the integration of traditional Chinese culture and contemporary design to better meet the cultural and personalized needs of the masses as well as market-oriented approach and expanding.This paper establishes the design boundary and principle by analyzing the characteristics of lacquer and the possibility between traditional processing and modern technology.On this basis,this paper analyses the consumer's culture needs in the unique way of using lacquer craft products,so as to orientate the lacquer design and integrate design elements that are compatible and balanced between traditional processes and modern products.Comparing difficult problems is more effective at eliciting opportunities for reasonable and feasible solutions for designing.Comparing and studying lacquer producibility design practise approves that the purity of materials and traditional lacquer process should be the bases and on this bases,creativity,aesthetics and product functionality should be full filled in the design and should also make full use of the technical language of lacquer craft to display its aesthetic value.modern innovative design for producibility can effectively make this traditional art better serve the needs of modern people's life and show and convey the essence of national culture in the form of products.
