Screening Of Imitation Glaze Materials In Ancient Ceramic Restoration

Ancient Ceramics repair ancient by the complement of plastic shape,imitation glazecoloring,drawing patterns and othersteps,including the correct selection of glaze materials is the key to the imitation glaze coloring and drawing patterns,and is also directly related to the success of ancient ceramic repair.At present,however,the lack of domestic Ancient Ceramic Repair Imitation glaze materials specially developed and produced,Commonly used imitation glaze materials in the anti-aging performance of uneven performance,easy to produce yellowing,warping,or even shedding of the situation.Because the repair effect will obscure the historical information of cultural relics and destroy the artistic value of cultural relics,therefore,in order to achieve the best repair effect,it is necessary to choose the best anti-aging performance of The imitation glaze material.In this paper,three kinds of imitation glaze materials commonly found in the restoration of ancient ceramics were selected for aging experiments,namely Giraffe brand varnish(nitrate nitro paint),SW Star Brand oil(hydroxyl acrylic copolymer),Golden brand varnish(acrylic polymers).Through drying high temperature thermal aging,humid environment thermal aging,Xenon lamp Aging and other accelerate daging means,The imitation glaze material with the best anti-aging performance was selected for reference by ceramic prosthesis.The experimental results show that the SW Star Brand Varnish performs best in anti-aging performance,followed by Golden brand Varnish and the worst anti-aging performance of Giraffe brand varnishes.The optimum glaze material selected by the experiment: SW Star Brand Varnish was applied to the "Qing Kangxi jingdezhen Kiln Green flower Goblet" Ceramic Repair example,and achieved good repair results.The results of example repair show that SW Star Brand varnish not only satisfies the technical requirements of ancient ceramics,but also solves the aging problems such as yellowing,warping and shedding of imitation glaze materials in the natural environment,conforms to the criteria of cultural relics restoration,and can reduce the occupational injury of employees and reduce the pollution to the environment.In the restoration of ancient ceramics,the promotion of the use of SW Star Brand Varnish should have a good prospect.
