Objective:We have researched the chemical constituents of Isodon Flavidus(Hand.-Mazz.)Hara.To study the compounds with novel structure and good activity,and provide scientific basis for the further develop and utilize the resources of these medical plants.Methods:dried stems and leaves of the plants were powdered,then the powdered material was extracted by 95%methanol,The compounds were separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography,C18 reverse phase column chroma-tography,semipreparative HPLC,MCI,gel column chromatography and recrystalliza-tion.The structure or absolute configuration of the compound was identified by spec-troscopic data such as MS,UV,IR,13C-NMR,1H-NMR,HMBC,HSQC,1H-1H COSY,NOESY and X-ray single crystal diffraction techniques.Results:25 compoun-ds were isolated from the Isodon flavidus(Hand.-Mazz.)Hara.and 18 compounds were identified,including 3 new compounds.The Compound types of structures are alkane compounds,lignans,flavonoids,glycosides,steroids,diterpenes and triterpenoids;These compounds are 3,4-seco isopimara-7,15-dien-3,9-olide(ID-1)?8,9-dihydroxy-abieten-13-en-20-oic acid(ID-2)?(ID-3)??-daucosterol(ID-4)?chrysosplenol D(ID-5)?ursolic acid(ID-6)?Lophanic acid(ID-7)?Rubesanolide D(ID-8)??-sitosteol(ID-9)?Fladin A(ID-10)?(hexacosane)(ID-11)?(Pentacosane)(ID-12)?1,4-dithiane(ID-13)?oleanolic acid(ID-14)?sesamin(ID-15)?Fladin B(ID-16)?3?,28-bis(dimethylcarba-moxy)urs-12-ene(ID-17)?1-acetoxyl-2e,6e-dipiperonyl-3,7-dioxabicyclo-[3,3,0]-oct-ane(ID-18).Conclusion:25 compounds have been isolated from Isodon flavidus(Hand.-Mazz.)Hara and 18 were identified,which were first isolated from this plant,includ-ing three new compounds(ID-1?ID-2?ID-3).And ID-1?ID-2?ID-3?ID-5?ID-11?ID-12?ID-13?ID-17?ID-18 were first separated from the plant.
