Study On The Clinical Efficacy Of Acupuncture Combined With Massage In The Treatment Of Mild To Moderate Graves Ophthalmopathy

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with massage in the treatment of mild to moderate Graves ophthalmopathy,and to provide a new method for clinical treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy..Methods:A total of 46 cases of patients with Graves ophthalmopathy,were randomly divided into observation group and control group,The control group was given basic treatment with methimazole and carboxymethylcellulose sodium eye drops,observation group on the basis of the control group treated with acupuncture and massage therapy,after the end of treatment,compared the two groups‘outcome measures.evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in age,sex,course of disease and the score of observation indexes before treatment between the two groups,and the difference was comparable(P > 0.05).2.Contrast the degree of exophthalmos,the observation group before treatment and after treatment for 4 weeks,8 weeks were compared and analyzed,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),after treatment between the two groups,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),the observation group was superior to the control group.3.Contrast the Syndrome score,the observation group before treatment and after treatment for 4 weeks,8 weeks were compared and analyzed,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),after treatment between the two groups,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),the observation group was superior to the control group.4.Contrast the GO-QoL,there was no statistical difference between the observation group before treatment and after treatment for 4 weeks(P > 0.05),but have statistical significance between the observation group and after treatment for 8 weeks(P <0.05).the observation group was superior to the control group.5.After treatment,the total effective rate was 82.6% in the observation group and56.5% in the control group.the observation group was superior to the control group.Conclusions:1.Acupuncture combined with massage can effectively improve the symptoms and quality of life of Graves ophthalmopathy patients,such as exophthalmos,eye swelling and pain,eyelid edema,etc.2.The curative effect of acupuncture combined with massage on Graves ophthalmopathy was superior to that of basic Western medicine.3.Neck acupoint selection and eye massage are more acceptable for patients with ocular diseases,with better safety evaluation and no serious adverse side effects.
