The Observation Of Treatment On Graves Ophthalmopathy With The Combination Of Electro-acupuncture And Medication

Objectiveto observe the clinical efficacy of electro-acupuncture combined with drugs in the treatment of GO,and to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of GO.Methods47 patients with thyroid associated ophthalmopathy,who met the inclusion criteria,were randomly divided into 2 groups: electro-acupuncture treatment group(24 cases)and drug group(23 cases).electro-acupuncture treatment group(EA)was in the therapy of electro-acupuncture combined with drug,and drug group was only treated with drugs.Both the electroacupuncture treatment group and the drug group were given polyvinyl alcohol eye drops(Ruizhu brand),1~2 drops per eye,four times a day for a total of 12 weeks.EA group: acupoints BL 1、EX-HN6、Shangming、ST 1、BL 2、SJ 23、EX-HN5、Shangtianzhu、GB 20,LI 3、SI 6、LI 4、ST 36、ST 40、SP 6、LR 3、KI 6、BL 67.After the acupuncture therapy,connect Shangming with ST 1 as a group on G6805 low frequency pulse treatment,with the dilatational wave(frequency 1~5HZ,electricity1~5mA);LI 3、LI 4、LR 3、ST 40 with lifting-thrusting reducing method;ST 36 and SP 6 by lifting-thrusting and twirling reinforcing method;pricking BL 67 0.1~0.5 Cun.Then keep it for 30 minutes.Press the pinholes 3~5minutes when the therapy was over.A course of treatment contains continuous treatment for 12 weeks,acupuncturing every other day and 3 times a week.The two groups of patients were subjected to demographic analysis,degree of exophthalmos,amount of eyelid retraction,diplopia,CAS,severity of illness,and quality of life scores before treatment.Under similar conditions,the treatment was completed and then the above Check and score.Results1.Subjects before treatment,demographic characteristics,eyeball protrusion,eyelid retraction,diplopia,CAS,disease severity and quality of life scores were comparable(P>0.05).2.After the treatment,the degree of exophthalmos and eyelid retraction were compared.Before and after electro-acupuncture treatment(0 week),they were compared with 4 weeks,6 weeks,and 12 weeks after treatment.All had statistical significance(P<0.05);After 12 weeks of treatment,the acupuncture treatment group and the drug group were statistically significant(P<0.05).The electro-acupuncture treatment group was superior to the drug group.3.After the treatment,for the diplopia,electro-acupuncture treatment group before treatment(0 weeks)and after treatment(12 weeks)compared with their own statistically significant(P lt;0.05);12 weeks after the treatment of two groups of comparative analysis,with statistics Significance(P<0.05),electro-acupuncture treatment group was superior to drug group.4.After the treatment,in the severity of the disease,the electroacupuncture group had statistical significance before and after the treatment(P<0.05);the two groups had statistical significance before and after the treatment(P<0.05),and the electro-acupuncture treatment group was superior than the drug group.5.After the treatment,the quality of life score was not statistically significant(P>0.05)in the electro-acupuncture group before treatment(0 week)and after 4 weeks of treatment,but it was statistically significant compared with 6 weeks and 12 weeks.(P<0.05);There was a statistically significant difference between the electro-acupuncture treatment group and the drug group at 12 weeks after treatment(P<0.05).The electro-acupuncture treatment group was superior to the drug group.6.After the treatment,the total effective rate was 95.8% in the electro-acupuncture group which was superior to the drug group with 56.5%.Conclusion1.The treatment of electro-acupuncture combined with drugs was superior to simple drug treatment in improving the eye-opening,eyelid retraction,diplopia,and other eye signs,quality of life,and severity of illness in GO patients.2.The electroacupuncture treatment started from the 4th week,and the clinical signs of GO patients showed obvious improvement.3.Artificial tears protect the cornea and promote the retraction of exophthalmos and eyelids.However,they have no significant effect on diplopia.4.The safety evaluation of electro-acupuncture needles in orbit is good and there are no serious adverse side effects.
