Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture in the treatment of gastrointestinal motor dysfunction after abdominal surgery and verify the theory of "He Zhi Nei Fu" and provide a theoretical basis for clinical promotion. Methods: 96 cases of general surgery patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine from February 2018 to November 2018 were selected according to inclusion exclusion criteria. The patients were divided into four groups by random number table: Xiahe group,Yuanxue group,non-meridian group and waiting treatment group, with 24 cases in each group.Electro-acupuncture treatment was given at Xiahe acupoint,Yuanxue acupoint,non-meridian acupoint.Waiting treatment group did no treatment.Three days a course, for one course.Compared four groups of patients before and after treatment of clinical symptoms score. Results: The total effective rate was 95.83% in Xiahe group,83.34% in Yuanxue group,64.67% in non-meridian group and 45.84% in waiting treatment group. The total effective rate of Xiahe group,Yuanxue group and non-meridian group was higher than that of waiting treatment group(P<0.01);The Xiahe group and Yuanxue group was higher than that of non-meridian group(P<0.05);The Xiahe group was higher than that of Yuanxue group(P<0.05).The recovery time of bowel sounds in Xiahe group,Yuanxue group and non-meridian group was significantly shorter than that in waiting group(P<0.05);compared with non-meridian group,Xiahe group and Yuanxue group was significantly shorter(P<0.05);Compared with the Yuanxue group, the Xiahe group was slightly shorter(P>0.05),there was no statistical significance.Compared with waiting treatment group, the first exhaust time of Xiahe group,Yuanxue group and non-meridian group was significantly shorter(P<0.05);compared with non-meridian group,Xiahe group and Yuanxue group was significantly shorter(P<0.05);Compared with the Yuanxue group,Xiahe group was significantly shortened(P< 0.05).Compared with waiting treatment group, the first defecation time of Xiahe group,Yuanxue group and non-meridian group was significantly shorter(P<0.05).Compared with non-meridian group,Xiahe group and Yuanxue group was significantly shorter(P<0.05).Compared with the Yuanxue group,Xiahe group was significantly shorter(P<0.05).Comparisons of abdominal distension scores: before and after treatment in Xiahe group and Yuanxue group(P<0.05);before and after treatment in non-meridian group and waiting group, the abdominal distension scores decreased slightly(P>0.05),there was no significant difference.Comparisons of abdominal pain scores: Xiahe group,Yuanxue group and non-meridian group before and after treatment had significant statistical significance(P<0.05);waiting treatment group decreased slightly(P>0.05),there was no statistical significance. Conclusions: It is an effective method to treat gastrointestinal motor dysfunction after abdominal surgery by electro-acupuncture at Xiahe and Yuan points. Both of them can significantly improve the recovery time of bowel sounds, the first exhaust, defecation time and abdominal distension and abdominal pain symptoms, and are superior to electro-acupuncture non-meridian acupoint.Waiting for treatment has no significant effect, which reflects the specificity of acupoints.
