Clinical Study Of Jianpi Yishen Yangxue Decoction In The Treatment Of Stage III-IV Tumors (spleen-kidney Deficiency And Insufficient Qi And Blood Syndrome) Due To Cancer-related Fatigue

Objective: to preliminarily explore the clinical efficacy and safety of jianpi yishen yangxue decoction in the treatment of advanced cancer patients with cancer-induced fatigue.Methods: 60 patients screened and excluded were divided into treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).The control group received the best symptomatic support treatment,the treatment plan for white,promote gastrointestinal function,improve immunity,nutritional support,anti-infection and other symptomatic treatment,one cycle a week.Treatment group based on the best treatment symptomatic support,on the basis of increase on spleen and kidney nourishing blood party(daily 1 agent,since Fried,400 ml,points in the morning and two in the afternoon,each 200 ml,all taking traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)from the affiliated hospital of hunan academy of traditional Chinese medicine,TCM pharmacy,a cycle for a week),two groups of patients were observed 6 treatments,the whole process of the fatigue scale scores were observed,KPS score,clinical symptoms of TCM,c-reactive protein(CRP)values,routine blood,liver and kidney function,and adverse reactions,and so on and so forth.Results:(1)the fatigue scale score: the treatment group and control group was decreased,the down differences compared with before treatment but two groups has no statistical significance(P > 0.05),the two groups after treatment than before treatment in comparison difference through statistical tests,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),suggesting to curative effect of treatment group to alleviate fatigue degree than the control group after 6 weeks have advantages;(2)KPS score: the effective rate(improved + stable)of KPS score in the treatment group was 96% after treatment;The effective rate of the control group was 86%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)TCM clinical symptoms: after treatment,the effective rate(significant effect + effective)in the treatment group was 93%,and the effective rate in the control group was 76%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05),especially in the improvement of fatigue,loss of appetite,insomnia,waist and knee pain and weakness,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.01).(4)c-reactive protein value(CRP): the CRP value in both groups was lower than that before treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)blood routine: according to the statistics of the reduction of various indicators in the blood routine,it was found that there was a statistical difference between the reduction of hemoglobin in the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the incidence of leukopenia,granulocytopenia and thrombocytopenia(P > 0.05).(6)adverse reactions: in terms of gastrointestinal reactions(diarrhea,nausea and vomiting),defecation and urine routine,electrocardiogram,liver and kidney function,etc.,there was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion: jianpi yishen yangxue decoction for the treatment of advanced cancer patients with spleen and kidney fatigue due to deficiency of qi and blood deficiency,can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with traditional Chinese medicine(especially in the improvement of shenshenli,neri,stool more obvious),reduce the patient’s fatigue,improve the patient’s quality of life,reduce the patient’s CRP situation.In addition,this traditional Chinese medicine treatment has no obvious adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
