Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of acupoint embedding needle on insomnia after apoplexy.Materials and Methods: From October 2017 to July 2018,60 patients were selected according to the inclusion criteria from the brain K1 Department of rehabilitation center affiliated to Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The patients were divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)by random number table. The treatment group was treated with acupoint embedding on the basis of routine acupuncture, while the control group was treated with routine acupuncture only for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment,PSQI scores and therapeutic effects were evaluated.Result:1.From the clinical efficacy, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 83.33%,and that of the control group was 70.00%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The scores of each component and total score of P SQI in treatment group and control group after treatment were better than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Sleep time, sleep disorder, daytime function and total PSQI of the treatment group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.Needle embedding combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture can improve insomnia after stroke, but the effect of needle embedding plus acupuncture is better than that of simple acupuncture.2.Needle-embedding plus acupuncture group is superior to simple acupuncture group in improving sleep time, sleep disorder, daytime function and overall sleep condition.3.Acupoint-embedding needle has a good clinical effect on insomnia after apoplexy, which is worthy of clinical application.
