The Weight-loss Effect And Safety Evaluation Of Injection-type Collagen Acupoint Catgut Implantation In The Treatment Of Simple Obesity

Objective:In order to evaluate the effect of acupoint catgut embedding on weight loss of simple obese people,this study took the patients with simple obesity as subjects,the injection type collagen Catgut Embedding at acupoint as subjects’ factors,the comfort catgut embedding as control,the weight,body mass index,body fat percentage,waist circumference,hip circumference,waist hip ratio as observation indexes,and compared the changes of each index before and after treatment between the two groups,with the preliminary exception Comfort effect and safety of acupoint catgut embedding,providing clinical evidence.Methods:The center is one of the sub centers of the research group.60 simple obesity patients who meet the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into acupoint catgut embedding group(experimental group)and comforting catgut embedding group(control group)with the proportion of 1:1 according to the completely randomized design scheme and the way of network platform.There were 5 cases of exfoliation,55 cases of effective cases,29 cases in the experimental group and 26 cases in the control group.The research period of this project is 42 weeks,including screening period(week-1),baseline period(week 0),treatment period(week 1-16 after enrollment),follow-up period(week 17-40 after enrollment).In the treatment period,the line was buried once every two weeks,and the body weight,body mass index,body fat percentage,waist circumference,waist to hip ratio,hip circumference,comprehensive treatment effect and safety were collected at the 4th,8th,12 th and16th week of the baseline period,the 4th,the 8th,the 12 th and the 16 th week of the treatment period,and the 28 th and 40 th week of the follow-up period.Results:1.Comparison between groups:There was a significant difference between the two groups at the 12 th and 16 th week of treatment and the 28 th and 40 th week of follow-up(p<0.05);There were significant differences in hip circumference reduction rate,weight loss rate,BMI reduction rate and f reduction rate at the 8th,12 th,16th week of treatment and the 28 th and 40 th week of follow-up(p<0.05);There was no significant difference in the decrease rate of waist hip ratio(p>0.05).The effect of acupoint catgut embedding group is better than that of placebo catgut embedding group.2.Comparison within the group:The indexes of acupoint catgut embedding graduallyincreased,and remained in a relatively stable state in the later period of treatment,and the curative effect continued to the follow-up period,with different degrees of decline in the later period of follow-up.The decrease rate of waist circumference in the 4th,8th,12 th,16th week of treatment and the 28 th and 40 th week of follow-up was significantly higher than that in the baseline period(p<0.05);The decrease rate of BMI,body weight,F,hip circumference and waist hip ratio were significantly higher at the 8th,12 th,16th week of treatment and the 28 th and 40 th week of follow-up than those at the baseline(p<0.05).The weight loss rate and BMI decrease rate in the placebo embedding group were significantly higher than those in the baseline period at the 8th,12 th and 16 th weeks of treatment(p<0.05).The decrease rate of waist circumference in the 8th,12 th,16th week of treatment and the 28 th week of follow-up was significantly higher than that in the baseline period(p<0.05).The decrease rate of waist hip ratio in the 8th,12 th and16th week of treatment and the 28 th and 40 th week of follow-up was significantly higher than that in the baseline period(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in the reduction rate of hip at all time points(p>0.05);The decrease rate of F was not increased but decreased compared with the baseline period.3.Comprehensive effect:The total effective rate of acupoint catgut embedding group was83%,and that of comfort catgut embedding group was 16%.There was statistical difference between the two groups(p<0.05),There was also statistical difference between the two groups(p<0.05),indicating that the acupoint catgut embedding group was better than the placebo catgut embedding group.4.Safety evaluation: There was no difference in alt,AST,TBIL,bun and Cr between the two groups before and after acupoint catgut embedding(p>0.05),which indicated that acupoint catgut embedding was safe and had no effect on liver and kidney function.Acupuncture pain score of acupoint catgut embedding was lower and lasted for a shorter time.From the first time to the eighth time,the pain score of catgut embedding acupuncture was lower and the duration was gradually decreasing.There was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was different between the two groups(p<0.05).Local induration is the main manifestation,but induration can be absorbed.5.Tolerance evaluation and blind evaluation:Affordability evaluation:There was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).And with the increase of the number of buried lines,the acceptance degree shows an increasing trend.Blind evaluation:100% of the patients in the two groups chose real acupoint catgut embedding,indicating that the blind method was successful.Conclusion:1.Injection collagen acupoint catgut embedding can improve the weight,BMI,waist circumference,waist to hip ratio of simple obesity patients,and has a certain long-term effect.The treatment is safe and easy to accept.2.Injection type collagen acupoint embedding is better than comfort embedding.
