Clinical Study On Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Ear Pressure In The Treatment Of Simple Obesity With Spleen Deficiency And Dampness

Objective:On the basis of observing clinical effect of acupoint burying combined with Auricular Pressure on Splenic Deficiency and wet supernumerary syndrome,we explored the effect o f acupoint burying combined with Auricular Pressure to treat obesity associated with obesit y,appetite and syndrome of TCM,so as to provide treatment ideas and basis for clinical tre atment.Methods:A total of 72 obesity cases of spleen-deficient and over-damp cases were randomized into two groups: Acupuncture Plus Ear Plaster Therapy(Comparison Group)and Point Catgut Insertion Plus Ear Plaster Therapy(Treatment Group)from 2021 to 2022.Control Group: Acupuncture: Daily for 30 minutes,15 times per session.Ear pressure: one side pressure,one time every three days,eight times for one cycle,for 2 cycles in total.Treatment Group: Point Catgut Embedding Method: Ten Days,Ten Minutes Rest,One Cycle Therapy Three Cycles.The data of BMI,WAISTLINE,WV,TCM symptom grade and appetite vision were recorded.Using SPSS 2 6-0 statistic software to analyse and evaluate the therapeutic methods and effectiveness of both groups.Results:(1)Sex,age,height,weight,BMI,waist circumference,waist circumference,waist cir cumference,waist circumference,waist to hip ratio,TCM symptom score scale and appetit e visual rating scale before treatment had no significant difference(P > 0.05).(2)In group comparison: BMI,body weight,waist circumference,waist circumferenc e,waist circumference,waist to hip ratio,appetite visual score scale,.The symptom score o f TCM was obviously decreased compared with that of the control group.(P < 0.05)(3)BMI,weight,waist circumference,waist circumference,waist circumference,wais t circumference,waist to hip ratio,appetite rating scale and TCM symptom score scale wer e significantly different.(P < 0.05),treatment group significantly superior to control group.(4)Effective rate of treatment group;effective rate in control group;total effective rat e in treatment group;statistically significant difference.(P < 0.05)(5)Safety assessment: Two patients experienced local pain at acupuncture points duri ng treatment period,and disappeared after 7 days of absorption.In two cases there was itch ing in the ear acupuncture point,after using iodophor to change ear patch,the itching disap peared.The control group only had a local bruise on acupuncture point and disappeared aft er 5 days.There were no severe adverse reactions.Conclusions(1)The two methods of acupuncture treatment,including acupuncture and moxibustio n,are effective for the treatment of spleen-deficient and damp-type obesity.(2)Acupuncture point burial plus ear press has a superior efficacy on the treatment of spleen-deficient and damp-damp obese patients,which shows that it is worthy of promotio n and application in clinic.(3)Acupuncture combined with ear pressure had remarkable effects on the improveme nt of body weight,waistline,WV,BMI and TCMsyndrome.
