Disabled people have always been a long-term concern group in the field of social work services,among which disabled children are the "vulnerable" among the vulnerable groups.They face more difficulties,need more diversity,and need more help and support from society.Children with cerebral palsy,as a special group of disabled children,often show the characteristics of physical disability,language dysfunction,decreased ability of understanding and expression,etc.they need psychological support,medical rehabilitation and social rehabilitation services.Social workers can use professional working methods and skills to help children with cerebral palsy to carry out rehabilitation treatment,help them to enhance their physical strength,improve their ability of understanding and expression,and make them better integrated into society.In this paper,four children with cerebral palsy and their rehabilitation teachers in the rehabilitation department of Tianjin s children’s Welfare Institute are the main service objects.Through questionnaire survey,literature research,interview and other research methods,the children with cerebral palsy in the welfare institute are understood,the social work intervention plan is formulated,and the eight stage music therapy group and sand table case work are carried out.The main goal is to help the case owners improve their physical strength,enhance their confidence and help them better carry out social rehabilitation.At last,the author makes a reflection and summary of the social work,and based on this,puts forward countermeasures and reflections,in order to provide some practical experience for the social work intervention of children with cerebral palsy.
