Relationship Between The Physical Types Of Parents Of Children With Cerebral Palsy And The Effect Of The Rehabilitation Of The Children

Cerebral palsy is a common disease of children with disabilities. Cerebral palsy children tend to have a persistent movement disorder and mental retardation, it seriously affected the quality of life of children with cerebral palsy, and brought a heavy burden to his family, lead to cerebral palsy children’s parents have to bear great pressure. This stress and lifestyle changes have greatly affected the mental and physical health of the parents of cerebral palsy, and have a great influence on the enthusiasm of the parents in the rehabilitation of cerebral palsy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution of cerebral palsy children in Lianyungang city and the effect of the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy.Objective:(1) To prove that the parents of cerebral palsy children are the objective existence of the pressure, and clarify the performance and degree of parenting stress.(2) To put forward the parenting stress of parents of cerebral palsy children has a certain effect on the rehabilitation effect of cerebral palsy children, Moreover, the relationship between the parent level and the physical fitness of the parents of children.(3) To prove the relationship between the TCM Constitution Types and their parent stress of the parents of cerebral palsy children,and find out the type of constitution which is obviously related to the parental pressure.Methods:Children with cerebral palsy and their parents who received rehabilitation treatment for children with cerebral palsy at the Lianyungang Maternal and Child Health-Care Center and Haizhou district hospital were selected as the research object, and a total of 180 patients were selected for the investigation of the parents of the children and the functional assessment of the children. With " Parenting StressIndex " and " Constitution in Chinese Medicine Questionnaire "for parents, and "International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health" for children. Then data collection and data statistics, analyze the relationship between the traditional Chinese medicine constitution type and parenting stress, and analyze the relationship between the functional change value of the children and parenting sress with SPSS 17.0 software.Results:In 180 cases,43 cases of Stagnent Qi Constitution were 23.9% of the total number of patients, parent distress mean score is 52±4.61, significantly higher than that of other physical fitness score, Haveing statistically significant (P<0.01). Parent stress score of the parens of Stagnent Qi Constitution is highest,the scores of Phlegm-dampness Constition,Damp-heat Constition and Stagnent Blood Constition are higher.The functional change of the children whose parents’ parenting sress score is among 121 and 140 is statistically significant (P<0.05) with the other two groups.Conclusions:Parenting stress of the parens of Stagnent Qi Constitution is highest, parenting stress of Phlegm-dampness Constition,Damp-heat Constition and Stagnent Blood Constition quality. The moderate level of parenting stress had a positive effect on the rehabilitation treatment of children.
