Evaluation Of The Therapeutic Effect Of Qiaojiafang Granules In The Treatment Of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis With Nodules

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Qiaojiafang Granule on the treatment of Hashimoto thyroiditis.Methods:A total of 60 subjects who met the including criteria of Hashimoto thyroiditis combined nodules,Liver Depression,Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-heat Syndrome were randomly divided into the Qiaojiafang Granule(QJF)group and the control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was orally treated with Qiaojiafang Granule(composition:Astragalus,Prunella,Atractylodes,Forsythia,Rehmannia,Xiangfu)1 dose per day,which should be taken twice in the morning and evening,and the control group was orally treated with Placebo(1/10 of effective pharmaceutical ingredient)1 dose per day,which should be taken twice in the morning and evening,too.The treatment course was 12 weeks in both groups.The thyroid function indexes including serum free triiodothyronine(FT3),serum free thyroxine(FT4)and thyrotropin(TSH),and the levels of thyroid associated antibodies including thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPO-Ab),thyroglobulin antibody(TG-Ab)and thyrotropin receptor antibody(TR-Ab),the longest diameter of the biggest nodules were observed before and after treatment.And the clinical efficacy was evaluated.Results:After 1 course of treatment,there were no obvious changes between the longest diameter of the biggest nodules and thyroid nodules section integral high-risk in both groups(P>0.05).Compared with treatment before,there were no obvious changes on the levels of FT3,FT4 and TSH in both groups after treatment P>0.05).Compared with treatment before,the levels of TPO-Ab and TG-Ab were obviously decreased in the QJF group after treatment P<0.05),but no obvious change on TR-Ab level was observed.In the control group,there were no statistically significant differences on the levels of TPO-Ab,TG-Ab and TR-Ab between treatment before and after(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of TPO-Ab and TG-Ab in the QJF group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the QJF group was 76.67%,having statistical significance than total effectiveness 46.67%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qiaojiafang Granule can obviously reduce the levels of thyroid associated antibodies in patients with Hashimoto thyroiditis combined nodules,Liver Depression,Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-heat Syndrome.Qiaojiafang Granule can have a curative effect on the type of patients with Hashimoto thyroiditis combined nodules,Liver Depression,Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-heat Syndrome.Qiaojiafang Granule didn’t exhibit a significant effect on the longest diameter of the biggest nodules in patients with Hashimoto thyroiditis combined nodules,Liver Depression,Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-heat Syndrome.
