Research On Economic Folklore In Wang Shixing's "Guangzhi Yi"

As a research field that is yet to be explored,Economic folklore studies is still in its infancy,both in theoretically and in practically.In particular,the exploration and research of traditional economical folk ideological resources in China is a serious shortage.Under the current situation in which China’s economy has entered the new normal,it is very important to dig deeply into the resources of economical ideological resources in China’s traditional cultural resources,and strengthened research on economic folk customs to promote the sustainable and healthy development of China’s economy,raise the recognition of national culture,establish the concept of ecological civilization,and promote folklore studies construction.Wang Shixing was an outstanding humanist geographer in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.He was the author of "Guang Zhi Yi","Wu Yue You Cao"and"GuangYou Zhi" and many other geography books.His "Guang Zhi Yi",was a national geographic notes describe the relationships between mountains,rivers,customs,property,taxation,customs,and people and ethnic groups.He also cast their own understandings and judgments on the shape of the motherland’s mountains and rivers,which sparked the glory of humanistic geography.In "Guang Zhi Yi",folklore recording is an important part of it,accounting for one-third of the total number of words in the book,and the records concerning economic folk customs are especially detailed."Guang Zhi Yi" describes the picture of social life in various regions,ethnic groups,industries,and social strata.This paper takes economic and folklore as the main theoretical basis,and uses methods such as graphization and tabularization to carry out an all-round and multi-angle research on the economic folklore of Wang Shixing’s "Guang Zhi Yi".Apart from the introduction part,this article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter briefly introduces the life of Wang Shixing and his works,the main contents of the "Guang Zhi Yi" and the social and historical background of the book,and then uses three chapters from the aspects of economic production folklore,economic transaction folklore and economic consumption folklore.The author analyzes and studies the description of economic folklore in Wang Shixing’s "Guang Zhi Yi".The chapter of production folklore focuses on marine fishing in eastern Zhejiang,animal husbandry in Shanxi and silk industry in Huzhou.The chapter of transaction folklore discusses partnership of Shanxi merchants,disguised transportation of goods,service industry,business and traffic.The chapter of consumption folklore analyzes the luxury consumption in Suzhou and Hangzhou,as well as rational consumption in Jiangxi and Henan.In the end of the thesis,the academic value and application value of folklore customs in Guang Zhi Yi is analyzed in detail.It is expected to radically change traditional lifestyles,knowledge production means and experience inheritance in the era of information.By learning folklore ideologies and practical values of Chinese tradition literature,the academic circle provides wisdom,experience and enlightenment for normality transformation of folkloristics.During the process of national rejuvenation,it also aims to help more people obtain a better understanding of everyday life,and give full play to the infinite application value in folkloristics.
