The compound sentence is one of the main sentence types in modern Chinese.The correlative words are the important external markers for displaying the relationship among the clauses in the compound sentence,and are the key focus in the compound sentence study.The shuncheng compound sentence is one of the core and commonly used sentence patterns in compound sentences.Whether it is the ontology research or the study from the perspective of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(TCSL),the shuncheng compound sentence,including the correlative markers,is an important object worthy of focus,given that researches on causal,transitional,and conditional correlative words are very rich,however,few studies have been conducted on the research of shuncheng correlative words.In foreign students' learning of Shuncheng correlative words,biased errors can appear with high possibility both in the input and output process.Therefore,it is a key research area to master the application of Shuncheng correlative words skillfully in the grammatical teaching of TCSL.Therefore,this paper focuses on shuncheng correlative markers of compound sentence,to explore the acquisition status of foreign students in this field,and to study shuncheng correlative words in the series of textbooks of Development Chinese and Chinese Tutorial.And based on the study,several teaching strategies will be proposed,which aims to provide references in the ontology research of shuncheng correlative words,as well as in the application of these words in TCSL.There are five parts in this article :Chapter One: Introduction.It mainly introduces the significance of this topic,the current research,the research plan,the annotations,the research objectives,the research methodology,and the source and collating of corpus.Chapter Two: The statistics and analysis of the shuncheng correlative words of the error and correct type,for foreign students.Based on the international students Chinese language corpus(Jinan University corpus),this paper studied the 13 shuncheng correlative words of compound sentences for investigation and statistics.Subsequently,these corpus were graded and analyzed in stages to further analyze the status of foreign students' acquisition of shuncheng correlative words.Chapter Three : Investigation of foreign students' acquisition of shuncheng correlative words of compound sentences.After the analysis of correct use cases and misuse cases of shuncheng correlative words,the types shuncheng correlative words were summarized and the causes of biased errors were analyzed.Chapter Four: Investigation on the compilation of shuncheng correlative words of compound sentences in textbooks.Based on the comparison of shuncheng correlative words of compound sentences in the Outline of Chinese Vocabulary Level and Chinese Characters and other textbooks,a detailed study was made on the selection,the arrangement of the sequence,the setting of the exercises,interpretation and reproduction of shuncheng correlative words of compound sentences in authoritative materials.Chapter Five : Recommendations for classroom teaching on foreign students' acquisition of shuncheng correlative words of compound sentences.Detailed recommendations were proposed on shuncheng correlative words learning and the compilation of teaching materials.Chapter Six:Conclusion: The summary of this paper,as well as the limitations for the study.
