Flipped Classroom,also known as the inverted classroom,is a teaching mode that changes the traditional teaching process of "classroom teaching and exercises under class"into "learning under class and practice in class".After the rise of the flipped classroom in the United States,it is gradually promoted to the world due to the appearance of Khan Academy.Many domestic scholars have also begun studying on the flipped classrooms.The stage of research has been expanded from primary and secondary schools to universities,and the scope of discipline has also expanded from science to various disciplines.Scholars in the International Chinese Education community also began to study how to apply flipped classroom to international Chinese teaching,published a series of research articles,and conducted many teaching practices.In the teaching practice of the Listening and Speaking class,the author found that there were some problems in her original teaching process.When she is looking for a solution,she has a chance to learn about the flipped classroom model.The author thinks that if the flipped classroom is introduced into the teaching of Listening and Speaking class,whether it can improve the teaching process to a certain extent,so as to improve teaching efficiency,so the author try to apply the flipped classroom to my teaching practice.This article through the combing of the literature related to this study,as well as according to the author's own practical experience,defines and illustrates the characteristics of the flipped classroom,specifically analyzes the domestic and foreign scholars in the practice of the flipped classroom teaching model.Afterwards,based on the literature review and the consideration of the actual situation,the feasibility analysis of the flipped classroom application to the Listening and Speaking Course was carried out from five perspectives and analyze the problems that may be encountered in the process of specific practice,and give corresponding countermeasures.After demonstrating the feasibility of flipped classroom in the Listening and Speaking course,based on the concept of flipped classroom and the disciplinary characteristics of international Chinese teaching,the author selectively makesa flipped classroom teaching design for Listening and Speaking course and applies it to the teaching practice.After five weeks of practice,questionnaires and interviews are conducted with the students.Based on the author's classroom observation and feedback from the students,it is discussed whether the flipped classroom is suitable for Listening and Speaking course.In the end,the author summarizes and reflects on the teaching practice,and puts forward opinions on flipped classroom application to international Chinese teaching.
